ESCHA POINT OF VIEW
Lacey and I are sitting side by side in the first row, holding hands waiting to be called up on the stage. It has been a hectic year. From me falling in love, to now. I love that i have changed, and i love it even more that it was Ava who changed me.
"And now for the valedictorian of this school year, Ava Thomas!" i hear the announcer say. I stand up and cheer and push her towards the stage. Ava came first, and I came second, ranking salutatorian.
I watch as Ava makes her way up on the stage, not a lot of people cheered, but i made sure that i took up for that. She wasn't noticed by alot of people, but for the ones who did know her, they certainly are jealous.
