VIOLETTA (PLEASE READ MY AUTHORs NOTE)
“Aren’t you going to ask where we’re going?” Cassian asked, filling the silence.
I wasn’t, especially since he was only going to tease me in response… as I sat there with my head leaning against the window, I could barely contain my anxiety so I wouldn’t be able to handle his teasing.
“No,” I replied as dryly as I could so he would drop it, but I knew better.
He chuckled. “Well, I keep catching you stealing glances at me. Admit it, Red. You’re wondering where exactly we are headed.”
“You know…” I started, holding my face wasn’t a giveaway that his words had gotten to me, I met his gaze, “I encourage this behaviour and you are being… a very bad boy.”
Silence.
I turned to look at him, and I could have sworn I saw his face turn beet red.
A blush?
