The room was transformed—softly glowing candles cast a warm light across the walls, balloons floated lazily at the ceiling, and a heart-shaped arrangement of rose petals adorned the bed. For a second, I wondered if I had stepped into the wrong house. Everything looked so different. “What’s this?” I asked, my voice laced with curiosity. Juliette emerged from the bathroom, her figure draped in a silky robe that left little to the imagination. My breath caught as she walked toward me with a determined look in her eyes, one that was equal parts vulnerability and strength. “We’re celebrating,” she said softly, her voice low and intimate. I blinked, trying to grasp what she meant.
