1Ross's thoughts are ricocheting around inside his skull like a spilled box of rubber balls, trying to figure out what's being said on the phone between Aldo and Dylan. The wee man's apparently woke up. Except that wasn't supposed to happen, was it? Aldo stays on the phone for a minute longer, his face going through any number of emotions, from amazement to confusion to outright grief. When he hangs up, he sits holding the phone in his lap, staring at it as if trying to figure out some vexing puzzle, and pointedly ignoring Ross and Luce's questioning looks.
