-MATT- It was Saturday afternoon, and I was heading home to drop my sports gear before going out. As soon as I approached the door, I heard the smoke detector ringing. I opened the front door in a hurry, just in time to find the apartment full of thin fog. Back in the kitchen, Sienna was standing on top of the counter, continuously pressing the button to stop the noise. “Shut up, you stupid thing!” she yelled at the smoke detector and didn’t even notice that I had come in. Trying to avoid scaring her, I approached carefully. "Sienna! You have to open the windows first," I shouted above the alarm. She stumbled, startled by my voice despite my efforts to prevent it, and I jumped to catch her before she fell. She landed on top of me as I hit my ass on the floor. I could smell her
