Today I'll be seeing Matt for the first time since he left Harper's apartment.
I came here to the fancy law firm that represents the Rangers for a preliminary hearing. Apparently, they want to verify all the information to settle the agreement before filing the papers. Since we already discussed all the terms before, I didn't quite understand the reason for this meeting, but at this point, I just want this to be over.
I removed a piece of lint from my black slacks while I waited in the reception. I wish I could say that I looked amazing, and Mtt´s jaw would drop when he sees me, realizing that he made a huge mistake. But this is not true. I don't look remotely remarkable. I'm wearing a black silk blouse, modest enough for a funeral. What suits the mood that I'm feeling inside.
