I don't know how long I was asleep, but the sun was already up.
Since I was in a coma for so long, it is surprising that I fell asleep in the first place, but I'm glad I did. I slept peacefully without any nightmares.
I don't know if it is because we got rid of the source of all my nightmares or if it is because I was quite literally reborn, but I have never felt so... rested. Even though I felt better than ever, I still went to find the doctor just to be sure.
She did a lot of tests, including some that I can only call magical, specifically to test my wolf and see if all my abilities were back and working properly. And sure enough, my wolf was back, and I was as healthy as a werewolf can possibly be.
When I returned to my room, David was already awake. Thinking back on how exhausted
