"We need to kneel, my love."
We kneeled in front of the tree- the dryad and brought our hands together. We stayed like this for a while, and before I knew it, the line of light that was previously connected to Caleb and Amelia was now wrapping around our wrists. The moment it did, I could feel this strange energy flowing inside of me. And there is also this strange sensation... I can't quite understand it. I will have to ask David about it later.
We got up and followed the flowery road to the lake, where Caleb and Amelia were waiting for us. When we got in front of them, I was taken aback seeing them kneel in front of us. But the weird part came after.
Except for David and I, the entire pack fell to their knees, howling in pain.
