“Do you think she will like this ?” I show my daughter the ring that I have picked out for Camilla for Christmas.
Emilia looks at me, with this look she has that basically says ‘seriously dad’. “Well I don't know what she likes … but I like it”.
“If you like it I am sure she will too”. I say, smiling at her.
It has been amazing spending the day with my daughter. Even if I have made video calls as often as possible, it is just something else, and I swear to myself that I will never be away from her for this long again. I hope Camilla is open to settling somewhere around here when we can leave Italy.
“I think she would like anything when you give it to her”. Emilia says with a smile. “That is what girlfriends do”.
