Chapter thirteen

"Wait what?" "Just listen okay?" I said trying to calm myself a bit. "It all happened here, you and Julien where here, he invited you. For some reason Cora came in to the room and saw you two a bit too close. She had always wanted you to be with her so she was obviously jealous. You both tried to prevent her from leaving even holding her using your strength which would've caused the broken mirror, one of you fell trying to hold her.  She gets away and who does she go to? Raymond. I would guess that she would run towards the third floor because he wasn't in the second one, once he would have known he would do what any father would do, deny it. Raymond would deny such accusation towards his own child and instead of blaming him he would blame you, you hadn't talked to him so you obviously where as insignificant as a fly. But of course he would come and look for you.  Both of you would've guessed that he was indeed coming for you but since Cora didn't have any proof you would split through the house to prove her wrong. The most obvious place that you might've gone would be your mother's office since you spent so much time there." I took his hand and took him to the exact place where I thought the murder happened, I hoped that if I told him he would somehow remember if it was true or not. I held his hand tight as I ran through this empty dark hallways towards that lovely place that I had loved but that kept a dark secret. "Raymond somehow caught you running and confirms that you had been with Julien. He followed you towards the office and corners you not letting you escape. Lula had been there and forgotten her book that she had left somewhere near the chimney. You try to make a run for it but you don't succeed, in the end he kills you right there behind your mothers portrait.  He would've hidden any possible evidence of the murder leaving it to a mystery. When everyone noticed you had gone missing he would make up a story about that you ran away or something and forced Julien to also confirm it" Abel stood there paler than ever, his eyes wide open and...where those tears? Why would he feel sad that someone he hated killed him? Or was it for another reason? Maybe he's just trying to process the information but he started looking scared like he remembered something he refused to acknowledge. But what was it? "No..." "What? What is it?" he was starting to shake like if he was remembering something terrible "No!" he was tarring to breathe faster than ever, was he having an attack? What was happening? "Abel?" "NO!"  He bolted out of the room running out of the room this time not even grabbing my hand. I chased after him and called out for him but he didn't answer, he wasn't himself. He looked so scared that for a moment I thought that there was a monster or a dark spirit in the room and now it was chasing him, but little did I know that what was chasing him was the truth. He ran and ran not even caring where he stepped and what he tripped on. We ran through the fourth room and down to the last as he ran and ran but I never knew to where until we finally got there. He opened in a slam the door of Walter's office. I thought he would go towards the desk but I was wrong, he headed towards the portrait  of that kind blue-eyed man, Abel's eyes looking with despair the portrait. He backed away and collapsed into his knees. "NO!!!" "Abel what is going on?" "Don't you see? Raymond didn't have blue eyes did he? He had brown." "Where are you going with this?" I said slowly trying to get closer to Abel to see if I could calm him "MY FATHER DID IT! MY OWN FATHER! HE KILLED ME!!!" he screamed in tears "And only because I was in love with a boy" he said silently He covered his face and started crying harder than ever full of despair and disbelief. I kneeled beside him and the moment I reached for him he collapsed towards me. I didn't say anything, I just couldn't. I tried but I didn't find my voice, it was gone.
