Ellie’s inadvertent provocation stirred Grayson’s desire, but he didn’t want to do anything to a woman who was unconscious. He forcibly pulled her hands off him, wrapped her in a blanket, and left the room.
Soon after, Dr. Flores arrived.
After examining Ellie, she said, “She was bitten by a silver-ringed snake. Although the venom is fatal, it is not immediately lethal. The toxin will numb the brain, causing her to lose consciousness. I’ll inject the serum now, and she should recover shortly.”
After injecting the serum, Dr. Flores left.
When Grayson came out of the shower, he heard Ellie crying.
