“Are all your things ready?” Andrius asked as he approached me and hugged me from behind.
I grabbed my neck with the still-visible imprint of his choking from the night before. He took my hand and touched the mark, then sniffed my neck.
“I’m sorry,” he said, leaning his head behind me.
I messed up his hair, then chuckled gently. I didn’t feel frightened about what he did because of how I felt about him. I couldn’t seem to find the anger anywhere in my heart. Even if I went into the depths of my heart back then, I wouldn’t have found it.
“It’s gone. The mark has completely disappeared. Don’t worry,” I assured him, feeling my back discomfort vanish as well.
