Until my last howl

Chapter 11 - Feel at home

As we finished our ice creams after a good laugh, we got in the car and started driving back to the castle.

"I don't want to go back" I whined...

"We don't have too much of a choice princess, the alpha has requested my presence soon" said Charles.

"Who's then going to help me get my room organized?" I asked with sad puppy dog eyes.

Charles laughed at my expression and answered with such a sweet voice, "don't worry princess, my mother will help you."

I smiled as I liked his mother, she would make a great grandmother to our pups one day, I thought to myself. Of course forgetting that he could hear my thoughts as after I thought that, he started laughing...

We arrived back at the castle and Charles helped me unload all the bags and carry them up the stairs. I didn't want servants to help me as they had enough to do to please the alpha.

He helped me set all of them down in my room, then told me he had to go and that he will see me later.

I walked him out and closed the bedroom door. Not too long after that, "Knock, knock" I heard knocking on the door.

I opened the door slightly, peeked out and saw Martha standing there.

"Please come in" I told her in excitement.

"My luna" she said while taking a bow.

I slightly grunted to that as I did not want to be known as luna, especially not to this alpha.

"Charles sent me, he said that you could use some help" she said.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, "I have tons of things that need to be put into their places."

At least the heavy things were already in their place, such as the bed and the couch.

Martha helped me lay the carpet down, hang up the curtains and while she made up the bed, I put away all the clothes that I got.

The both of us put all the other decor into their places too, my room was starting to look stunning.

"Fit for a queen" said Martha as she put the curtain tie backs into place.

"It's looks absolutely beautiful" I said while just standing there taking everything in.

"It feels almost like home" I told her with a smile on my face.

It might have felt like home but it won't be for long if the alpha can have his way, I thought and put my head in my hands.

Martha walked over to me and tried to comfort me, she put her arms around me and tried to soothe me like a mother would.

"Thank you" I told her with tears in my eyes.

"Don't worry, soon you will be out of here, but for now, just try to feel at home" she said with a sad smile.

"I'll try my best" I told her and tried to cheer myself up.

"Why don't you go take a bubble bath and start getting yourself ready for dinner tonight?" she asked.

"I almost forgot about dinner" I told her with a rather shocked expression on my face.

Time seems to go by so quickly when you having fun and with someone that you love.

I walked to the door with her and she gave me one more hug before she walked off.

I locked the door and headed into the bathroom to pour myself a nice, hot bubble bath.

I climbed into the hot water and just lay down, letting the water soothe all the stress that I had away.

I washed myself quickly so I could relax for a bit longer, maybe a bit too long as I found myself drifting off to sleep...

I had a dream of walking deep in the dark forest, following small little glowing lights and at the end of those lights, there stood a woman. She had her back to me.

"Hello" I said. "Do you know where I am?" "Can you help me?"

She turned around very slowly and looked at me with pure white eyes that seemed to burn into my soul, her white hair seemed to float all around her and it didn't even look like her feet touched the ground.

"You the same woman I saw standing by the forest back at home!" I exclaimed, but she didn't say a word.

She raised her finger and pointed to my belly then said in a rather eery voice, "it's almost time"...

Her voice scared me and I jolted myself awake in the bath tub.

Trying to catch my breath and calm myself down, I lifted up my knees to my chest and comforted myself.

"Knock, knock", there was knocking on the door again.

"Go away!" I yelled. "I'm in the bath!"

"Everything oky in there princess?" came the sweet voice of Charles.

"Everything is oky, I'll be out in a second" I told him.

I grabbed my towel, wrapped it around me and opened the door, letting Charles in.

"I felt through our link that you were unsettled" said Charles looking up and down at me.

"I'm fine, I just had a nightmare" I told him while starting to blush as I realized all I had on me was a towel.

"Don't worry princess, soon the nightmare will end" He told me while gesturing for me to come sit next to him on the bed.

I slowly walked over to him and sat down.

"Why don't you tell me what the nightmare was about?" He tried getting me to tell him.

I first started telling him about all the whispers I heard back at home, then about the woman in the forest and then finally I told him about my nightmare and the lady pointing to my belly.

"We need to get you out of here soon" He said as he leaned in closer and gave me a small peck on my lips.

I started blushing as it's the first time I was kissed before.

In the moment, I accidentally let my towel slip and Charles started blushing.

"I am so sorry" I said while quickly picking it up again.

"Don't be" said Charles as he took the towel from me and threw it on the floor before grabbing me and placing me on his lap.

We stared into each other's eyes and he leaned forward and starting kissing me again, this time our tongues fought for dominance and we both started sweating profusely...
