"Hi, my name is David, the department manager," he introduced himself, his voice trembling.
"Hi, my name is Amber," she introduced herself. Feeling embarrassed as recognition was visible in Karl's eyes.
"Small world, huh?" David remarked with a friendly smile. "Well, it's good to officially meet you, Amber. I'm your manager here in the product development department."
David was obviously smitten by Amber's presence as it seemed like the angels had answered his prayer immediately to see the woman again. Amber returned his smile, relieved he didn't seem to hold their collision against her.
