Chapter 151

2820 Words

Zane's Point of View The road back home stretches out long before us. It's dark outside, the pale glow of the headlights the only light around us, cutting through some of the dark. We have been on the road for a while now but none of us have said anything since we left. The only sounds is the crunch of the tyres on the road, the radio that was turned down low and occasional snores that came from the back. But the silence doesn't bother any of us. All of us are to caught up in our own thoughts, I guess... I know for a fact that I am. My mind is stuck on Zayde, my mind consumed with his current predicament. I am still trying to make sense of the fact that my son, my little boy, only five years old is stuck as his wolf, for the foreseeable future. No clear way out of this. It feels unreal.
