Shay's Point of View
My ears start to ring, it feels like the hand around my throat is slowly squeezing the life out of me and I can't breathe. Zane's words keep echoing in my mind.
'They can't find him anywhere. He's gone.'
I see Zane's lips moving but all I can focus on is the fact that my son is gone. While I sneaked off for a few minutes of fun, someone took my baby. Why would anyone want to take Zayde? Who would... My eyes snap up to Zane and I feel my wolf push forward as I rip out of his arms and storm towards the party.
It has to be her. Who else would stoop so low? I hear Zane yelling my name, but I ignore him, making my way back to the party.
