Shay's Point of View
A soft knock on the door draws my attention, and I turn around to see Amy standing at the door. She smiles at me and gives me a little wave.
"Hi, I was just on the other side of the hospital, checking in on Megan and the twins and thought I'd pop in and see how the three of you were doing?"
I smile back at her, waving her in.
"Hi, I appreciate you stopping by. We're doing okay. The little one has been a bit busier than usual. But please come in and sit down. I would welcome the distraction. "
"You sure? I really don't want to bother you?"
She says as she points to the laptop in front of me. I sigh and tug a piece of hair behind my ear.
