Shay's Point View
After we finish breakfast, Zayde and I start to build a puzzle as we wait for the doctor.
"So, did you talk to her?"
Zayde suddenly asks, and I frown as I look down at him.
"Yes, baby. I told you, Aunt Meg said that. .."
"No. Not her."
Zayde interrupts me as he shakes his head.
"Then who are you talking about?"
I ask him, confused.
"The Moon Goddess, mommy."
Zayde says, exasperated, as if it was obvious.
I shake my head as I realize he was referring to the fact that she was supposedly going to come talk to us.
"No, baby. I didn't see or talk to the Moon Goddess."
He frowns.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Zayde, I am sure."
He shakes his head as he looks back down again, continuing the puzzle.
"I don't understand. She said she would."
