Shay's Point Of View
I spin around, my eyes locking onto an enraged Khol. His glare is fixed on Emily and I try to push her behind me, but she shakes her head and takes a step towards him.
"Dad..."
Emily begins but he snarls at her.
"Shut up! Don't you dare call me that, you stupid, worthless b***h! I knew something was off with you and with Luke. How did you convince him to betray his family? What the hell have you done to Luke?"
Emily shrinks back from him, and looks at me. The shock on her face is clear. From her reaction I assume he has never yelled at her, at least not like this. I try to push her behind me again, away from Khol, and this time she willingly takes a step back. I turn to look at him.
