Dan, the three warriors from the council and I quickly make our way in the direction that Lucy pointed us to.
"Why would your father go after them? I thought you said he protected Shay against Ethan?"
Dan asks as we jog and I shrug.
"He did. I have no idea why he would go after them. At first, I hoped he just went after them to make sure they get somewhere safe, but now... I am not so sure. Something must have happened, or something spooked him."
"Do you think he made them? What would he do if he did?"
