MIYOUNG POV

BANG!

I flinched when I saw a bullet passed through the paper, 7 m away from us.

Jin managed to shoot straight to the target.

"Yayyy!!!!" He jumped happily with V and Jungkook.

We were in the forest for combat lessons from Mr Jang.

He said that this lesson is very important to protect ourselves from monsters and beasts in

the forest.

It's already 6.45 PM, 3 hours since I stuck in the class, but I'm still not used to the sound of

gunshots.

I kept flinching and flinching.

I gulped as I stand behind all of my classmates when I heard another gunshot.

"Why are you scared?" Yeojin asked teasingly. I hate it when someone challenged me.

"Puh-lease." I muttered as I flipped my hair.

"Miyoung, could we talk for awhile?" Mr Jang asked as he stands next to me.

He is the only human teacher in the school.

I think he's my only hope.

"Yeah, sure." I replied and followed him.

We walked about 5 m away from other classmates before Mr Jang spoke out.

"So, how are you doing with the new environment?" Mr Jang asked.

"They nearly kill me, sir." I answered, trying my best to hide my sarcasm.

Mr Jang chuckled as he shook his head.

"Well, at least they didn't kill you, right?" Mr Jang asked.

"But still..." I said with sarcasm.

"Here. Try to shoot that apple on that tree." Mr Jang handed a gun to me.

"Cool~" I sang. I never hold a real gun before.

Wait.

"Is this even a real gun?" I asked and Mr Jang nodded. Maybe I could kill EXO using this

gun?

"Unfortunately, EXO will not be too easy to be defeated by the gun. They're fast enough to

run away." Mr Jang said, as if he reads my mind.

"Why would the strongest group try to run away from the bullet shot." I shrugged.

"Well, what did you expect?" Mr Jang asked.

"They should face the bullet and maybe break the bullet like a real man?" I asked back.

"Or kill the person before they could even shoot them?" I added.

"Why don't you try and see what happen. I'll be here and watch everything while eating a

box of popcorn." Mr Jang replied and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Stop wiggling your eyebrows. It annoyed me and you look like a disgusting old man!" I

stated as my eyebrows furrowed.

"Says someone who couldn't smile. It annoyed me when I see your moody face every day."

Mr Jang said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"See, I'm smiling." I forced a smile.

"How ugly..." Taemin snickered.

"Says the living stick with a coconut head!" I shouted and his friends laugh uncontrollably.

Taemin became angry in instant and was about to cut off my head if it wasn't for his loyal

friends who are holding him back.

"Now I know why they want to kill you badly." Mr Jang said and he shook his head.

"Let's back to the training." He said while I groaned.

I fixed my position like what Mr Jang told me before I aim to the target.

Then, when everything is ready, I pulled the trigger and a bullet shoot out of the gun.

I am surprised when the bullet hit a few centimetres away from the apple, on the tree.

At least, I was good enough for the beginner.

I nodded in satisfaction.

"Maybe, you should put a big pan instead of an apple. She was so terrible and she hurt my

tree." A voice hollered and my head snapped to my right.

It was none other than Kyungsoo, who seems to enjoy throwing hurtful words to me.

"This tree is a living thing too. You couldn't just shoot the tree just like that." Kyungsoo added

and do some hand gestures as the bullet fell down to the ground.

Interesting.

"Perhaps, you could ask for your tree to avoid the bullet from reaching it?" I asked.

If you're thinking, I know that tree couldn't move. I'm just very annoyed with Kyungsoo.

"I thought you are from medical school. You must know about living things such as trees

more than myself." Kyungsoo answered with a smirk.

"And I know very well which part of your body that could kill you easily." I smirked.

As I turned my head, I just realised that Mr Jang was no longer with us.

"Only because you had Sehun, doesn't mean you're stronger than me. I could kill you in just

one snap." Kyungsoo replied.

Kyungsoo came forward and I aimed the gun towards him.

"I thought when you begged Sehun to keep you alive, it comes from your heart that you'll

change to become a better person, but I just realized that all of it is fake!" Kyungsoo

growled.

His words cut deeper than a knife.

"You're just like us. There is a monster inside you. You just hadn't been caught yet."

Kyungsoo snarled.

My hold on the gun loosened.

Am I just like them?

Kyungsoo walked away and left me dumbfounded.

A pair of hands grabbed my shoulder and I almost shoot whoever that hold me if not

because he throw the gun away.

"Oh my god! You almost kill me!" Jungkook clutched his shirt.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook." I apologized and a grin forms on his lips.

"It's okay." Jungkook said while studying my features.

Kyungsoo's words played on my mind.

My eyes wandered and I saw EXO were laughing together.

Somehow, they looked very innocent with their warm and sincere smile.

"You know, Miyoung. There's always a reason why people change. I believed EXO wasn't

like that before. They didn't even know how to kill people but someone took something,

someone who is very valuable towards them away. They went completely mad. They

changed." Jungkook said.

"I don't care about them." I replied, taking the gun that was on the ground.

"I hope you do care of them. They need help, they need a guide to start loving and trusting

people..." He paused.

"Again." Jungkook said.

"I couldn't help them. It's all on them." I said in a harsh tone.

"You need to embrace their monstrous side, and then you'll see the beauty inside the

monster." Jungkook replied before he left me.

"Hey, human!"

I snapped my head to the direction of the voice. The voice came from a young woman with a

red hair.

Suddenly, she pointed her gun at me and I froze.

She pulled the trigger and shoot at me.

I shut my eyes when the gun fired to my direction.

I have been ready to feel the pain, but to my shock the bullet hit the apple on the tree.

"This is how to shoot that apple, Miyoung. Not shoot the tree." The young woman laughed.

"You should look at your face. It's so funny! Does it made your blood runs cold?" She and

her friends laughed.

It angered me when everyone in this school didn't respect to me at all.

They think that I, the normal human is very funny and think that I'm a toy to play with.

Then, I'll show to them what this toy could do to them.

While they busy laughing, I take my gun on the ground and aimed my gun to her gun.

I pulled the trigger and shoot without thinking.

BANG!

The noise made the four girls shut their mouth.

The bullet hit the gun on her grip, making it flew away. The bullet manages to slice her skin

on her index finger and I saw blood trickled down from her finger.

Suddenly, I saw Chanyeol running to me in the fast speed.

"Duck down your head!" He shouted, but I was too confused.

Before he could say anything else, something metal hit on my head and my vision blackened

instantly.

I groaned the moment I open my eyes.

I felt a massive headache, making my vision turns black before becoming normal back after

a few seconds.

I am in a cube.

A huge cube made of metal.

I try to find a door but there's no door at all.

Suddenly, the cube's height and width reduces slowly.

"N-no..." I gasped and my eyes widened.

My breathing becomes unstable when the cube becomes smaller.

I clutched my shirt when I felt as if somebody clutch my heart and lungs to stop working.

My hands become sweaty and so does my whole body.

I should be working on how to control my claustrophobia.

My legs wobble and I plopped on the floor instantly, immediately hugging my knees, hoping

that everything will be over.

I felt the cube's top already reached my head and that's when my lungs become suffocated

and about to burst.

A new light blinded my eyes and it took a few seconds before I realized where I was.

I was laying on a bed, like a hospital bed.

Everything was white in colour.

I clutched my shirt as I felt my heartbeat still beating fast.

I don't know whether what happened just now was real or just a nightmare.

I pulled out every wire that attached on my arms and legs, then immediately get out of the

door.

The desire to get out of the room which makes me suffocated is stronger than the

exhaustion I felt.

I bumped onto a hard chest once I open the door.

"Are you okay?" Baekhyun asked.

I cleared my throat and straightened myself.

"I'm fine." I said casually and hide my trembling hands on my back.

"Don't lie to me. I know how it felt." Baekhyun said and pulled my hands and massaged each

of my fingers.

He made me sit on a bench and kneeled, then hold my hands which helps my hands to stop

trembling.

"Every punishment is made by their own fear." Baekhyun added.

So, this is the punishment for me because I shoot that girl?

Maybe I should shoot her straight to her head.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"5th floor. Restricted area which turns out as a punishment room for every student who

break the law of the school." Baekhyun replied.

"I heard from Chanyeol that you shoot the girl's finger." Baekhyun said.

"I'm not! I shoot the gun on her hand and it accidentally manages to slice her skin." I replied

while Baekhyun chuckled.

"So why you're in here?" I asked.

"Let's say that I make a girl blind for her whole life."
