Episode 9 : Culprit

"Why I want to ask you to meet me before I go on holiday, I don't even know you at that time?"

"Vanda told me that you like me after you saw me in the cafeteria, so she told me that you have requested to follow with her to go to the airport to send off. She told me that you will be asking about me with her every day. I did ask her about your number to her and she told me that you are not ready to text me until you texted me after you came back from holiday."

"Sounds like she is interested in you since you are her boss she dare not to approach you I guess, maybe you should respond to her."

"Don't advise to whom I am supposed to respond if you want you to talk to me or else it's fine. We can just part here as friends."

"What is the problem with you and her? Why she is using my name to communicate with you?"

"Nothing. You finish your food and I will drop you back at your office."

We had our food quietly and he dropped me at the office. I turn and looked at his car, he speeds up like nobody's business and went missing from my eyes. Jay was watching Krish from his rearview mirror after dropped her whether she will turn and look at him or not. Since she did he smiled and pressed his speed accelerator in happiness.

I was very confused and I can't identify what was the main reason for their behaviors. There is something else in between Jay and Vanda. Maybe they are lovers previously and had a fight so now Vanda is using me to communicate with him? As per Vanda's information, I know Jay is a divorcee and he is also a playboy. He didn't cross his line with me other than teasing me. I like the way he smiles and his eyes are very capturing. If he is a playboy then Vanda shouldn't be an issue for him at all. It can be done based on the mutual understanding relationship. Jay also loves kids. Something is really wrong somewhere. I can't think more than this. I better continue to focus on my work.

Jay has returned to his office and asks Vanda to meet him at his office. She went to meet him and Jay asked her so is there any message from Krish. "Yes. She will be going to her hometown this weekend. She texted me after she bought her ticket a few days ago." She chatted coquettishly with Jay. She slightly bends down and leans on Jay's table to show off her cleavage. "Thank you for the info Vanda and in the future, I will communicate with Krish by myself." He stared at her, a cunning look came to his eyes which made Vanda shiver her whole body.

"Are you going back to your hometown?" I received a text message while I was on the way back.

"How do you know?" How come he knows all my plans without me telling him. This guy is stalking me?

"Yes or no?"

"Yes. Are you stalking me?

"Hahahahaha! Yes, I am so what you want to do to me?

"Yewwwww! Why you so creepy?"

"Only that? You are not scared of me?

"Why should I scared of you? You are not going to kidnap me and r**e me, I know you well!"

"What if I kidnap you and r**e you?"

"Barking dogs seldom bite"

"Are you calling me a dog?"

"Whatever!!"

I didn't receive any text after that. I arrived at my destination and the moment I walked out of the station, a familiar car was waiting for me, I pretend as though I didn't see the car and wanted to cross the road. Jay honked so loudly until I turn and see at him. I was cursing him in my hurt irritating i***t, what the hell he wants??? I opened the car door and get in, I didn't talk or say anything. After 15 minutes of the drive, he took me to the same shop where he will smoke vape. Once he parked I asked him as though in a whispering voice.

"What you want?"

"What I want?"

"Why you are following me everywhere I go?"

"Where I followed you?"

"You came today afternoon to my office, took me for lunch, now waiting at the train station and brought me for dinner. Do I have to follow you everywhere you go?"

"Yes!" He got off and just walk straight to the restaurant.

I sat in the car for a good 5 minutes to calm down myself and I felt very tired due to the workload today. I walked to the restaurant and sat opposite Jay at his table. He looked into my eyes full of affection. I dare not to see him so I looked down and was playing with my hands on the table. All of a sudden Jay holds my hand. I looked at him and he was looking straight into my eyes. Then he holds both my hands with his hands, he gets up and sat beside me. He adjusted the hairs on my forehead and tucked them behind my ears. He touched my cheek slightly making my body feel trembled. We are looking into each other eyes. He came near me and I can feel his hot breath on my cheek. The waiter already brought the food which he had ordered earlier including for me. He asked me am I okay with the dish he ordered or want to change. Tandoori chicken is one of my favorites so I was happy he ordered that and I told him with a smile. He was still holding my hands and didn't let go until the guy left. He took the chicken and served it on my plate. Seriously I don't know where my tiredness went off. I feel very relaxed and calm.
