Jay's Love...

Episode 12 : His Past

I didn't react anything or say anything, after some time of silence, Jay asked me,

"You don't like me to romance with you?" Why he has to discuss this now? I just keep quiet.

"Tell me, if you are not interested I will not do it again." I turned and gave him a cold look staring straight into his eyes. What is he thinking of me, can't he even understand my body language and how I responded to him. "I felt of not enough kissing you just now, I want to kiss you from head to toe" his statement made me blush, I can feel my face and my body became hot suddenly. My stomach is giving all kinds of sounds, like thousands of butterflies flying in my stomach. He took my hand, kissed it front back the tips of my fingers, I pulled my hand immediately. He was not angry but started to laugh at me. He took my hand again kept it in his hand and still kissed it on and off. I was silent all the then, as usual, I asked him a question. "What happened between you and Vanda?". He just kept silent and squeezed my hand till I moan in pain, "Jay it's pain". He immediately released my hand but still was holding my hand. He looked a bit angry. "If I no need to know means then it's okay you no need to tell me," I told him. He turned and looked at me, smiled at me with pain.

"After I divorced my wife, I cannot come out from the depression, it was 10 years of marriage. We married at age 25 years old and led a happy life even when we didn't have any kids out of our marriage. We travel every year as our holiday and always felt like a newly married couple. I was cheating on her even before I married her and she doesn't know." I can see the pain in his eyes when he was telling me about his past.

"My ex-wife was an active partner and open-minded on the bed. I really don't know why I was going to other women. She caught us red-handed with her friend. I told her that we are not having an affair and will not do it again. She refuses to trust me, she signed off the divorce papers and left another country to settle down with her family who already settled there." I can feel what he felt since I have been through the same pain. Whether whose mistakes don't matter, the pain will be there when you really love your partner.

 "Out of frustration and separation from her, I couldn't focus at all on my life. I never expected my ex-wife would leave me and go abruptly. I was in shock and I admit it was because of me only I will not blame her at all, maybe if she gave me a 2nd chance I might be the same too, seriously I don't know. I was actually working and doing well in this country and due to my messed up life I went back to my country and was trying to rebuild myself. It was a big lesson for me, I tried to change and after almost 3 years, Gordon and Anthony asked me to join with them. So I came back here to start again and I did well. I started to pick up all the broken pieces and move on with my life. At this time point, I happen to meet a woman, and her name is Rose." When he mentioned her name I can see a smile full of pain. I saw tears in his eyes, he didn't cry for his ex-wife but he is crying for Rose? I am surprised and shocked as well. We still have an hour journey to reach my hometown so his story will go on.

He smiled and said "Rose was really a delicate woman as her name. She was in pink color and very soft person, her name suits her very well." Out of patience, I asked him "Than what happened to her, you cheated on her too?" I was a bit angry with his attitude, he broke his 10 years of marriage just because of his lust. He looked at me and with his teary eyes he said "She cheated on me". I was stunned and I taught what goes around come around. He never cries for his 10-year marriage but he cries over a woman who left him for another man. "After I came here, we took the current office lot to start our business and Rose had her own traveling business next door. We will meet on and off casually while opening and closing the office door. Rose was running her business alone and she had an assistant, Betty. One day while I was in the office alone, Betty knocked on the door out of panic and horror in her eyes. When I checked she screamed saying Rose suddenly fainted and fall down." He sighed and took a very very deep breath before continue.

"I ran to their office and Rose was on the floor, lying without any movement. I check under her nose still breathing. I asked Betty to follow me and I carried Rose to the nearest clinic which was opposite our office building only. The doctor checked and informed low pressure, she needs more rest it seems. She was on 2 bottles of drips and the doctor as us to come back after 4 hours. I told Betty I am leaving since no danger and Rose is in good hands. I went back to the office, continued with my work. For the next 2 days, Rose's office was closed. Monday came and she opened the office as normal. Around 10 am she came to the office and asked who has helped her last week to carry her to the clinic. I was at the client's place so didn't go to the office for few days. She keeps on asking the same question for the past 3 days until Gordon gave her my name card and told her if it is urgent you can call or text him. He told her I might be coming to the office for some time." He sighed again with a very very deep breath and I was looking at him in curiosity, for me it sounds like a movie. Oppssss!!
