Jay's Love...

Episode 4: Kathy's Strange Behavior

Kathy still kept on staring and her behavior suddenly become strange, Benny and the kids were busy walloping their biryani. I asked Kathy are you okay she said yes but still looking strangely behind me. I wanted to turn to look but she said don't and ask me to sit still. I asked why she said nothing and continue to eat as normal again. I looked at her face nothing much difference and she is back to normal. Then she continues to eat, chatted normally and we were talking about other matters related to ourselves. I received a WA message and I took my phone to read it. It was from Jay and he asked me "Where are you?" Aiks!! He texted and suddenly asking where I am, what the heck!! I replied "Having lunch and you?" He replied, "Same here, at home or outside?" "With friend and family" "Okay and enjoy your food." "Same to you" I put my phone in my pocket and continue with my food while chatting with Kathy. We had Indian Bru coffee with cow's milk, our all-time favorite. Then the kids want to have ice creams, Benny ordered for them and they were chatting and enjoying the ice creams. When Benny is around we don't worry about the kids at all, he will handle all 3 of them. Thanks to him and his service hehehehe! 

Suddenly I saw Kathy's face darken like just now. I asked her are you not well and she shook her head signaled that she is good. Suddenly she asked me "Do you still remember the guy who dropped us at the airport?" I said "yes, Jay" and she said "He is here". Suddenly I felt nervous and I asked " Is he facing us?" She shook her head to indicate no. Suddenly I started to sweat and the whole restaurant feels very hot. I asked, "Why your face look very strange when you looked at him". She looked at me and said, "He is not alone". I was relaxed a bit and she said: "He is with your friend Vanda". Aikssssssssssss!!! Wierdoooo!! Now my facial reaction was really strange and I asked "Seriously??". She nodded and said "Yes" too.  Last night Jay told me that Vanda was jealous of him taking me to the so-called "office staff dinner" and now both of them came for lunch. What, staff lunch is it and today is off day some more!! Well Krish it is none of your bloody business, I told myself and continue to enjoy my coffee. Suddenly Benny and the kids said let go since we all done and the bill has been paid. Since Jay was sitting facing Vanda, I pretend like I didn't see them and I was busy chatting with the kids while walking past them. Kathy's told me that she was looking at Vanda and Vanda was looking at me and pretend like didn't see you. The door was opened for us by the waiter so we walked very fast. The restaurant wall was made of see-through glasses from inside and I think Jay saw me. Suddenly I received WA text and I took my phone to check saw it was from Jay. I didn't open the text to read or reply. I put my phone in my pocket and went to the car with the kids. I didn't turn and look at the restaurant after that. 

We went to a movie, I texted Kelly that we are in the movie just in case she wanted to call me which sometimes she will do, and put my phone on silent. After about an hour my phone was vibrating indicating I am receiving WA messages. I ignored it and was enjoying the comedy movie with the kids while laughing together with them. It was almost 6 pm when Kathy dropped me at my lobby and went off. The kids and I waved until they disappear from my view. I was a bit tired since the weather was hot. After I entered my room I checked my phone, a few messages from our family WA chat group, Vanda and Jay. I checked our family group discussion about family gatherings and replied to them. Checked Vanda's message, she mentioned that she saw me in the restaurant and was with Jay for lunch there, didn't want to disturb us since I was with my friends and I replied "Okay", what a great excuse. Grrrrrrrr!! Bullshit!!! Then I opened Jay's text, 1st text was "Were you in the same restaurant with me?", after about 45 minutes 2nd text was "Why you are not replying?" and after 15 minutes "Are you angry?" after that nothing. I sighed to myself and replied to his 1st messaged by replying it "Yes I was in the same restaurant with you", 2nd message "I was watching a movie so my phone was silent" and 3rd "Why the hell I have to be angry? Give me 1 good reason please!!". I didn't get any reply so I went to freshen up and called Kelly to give my report of the day. We talked for almost an hour. I told her about the movie, we were laughing at the jokes and I totally forgot about Jay's matter. After hanging up the phone I read back Vanda's message and I was not really satisfied but at the same time, I don't want to ask or assume anything.

After an hour, received a reply from Jay "Because I didn't come and talk to you. I didn't know you were there". I said, "It's better that way because I was with my friend and her family. Anyway Vanda knows I was there too and both of you decided not to disturb me so it's really fine and no worries". "No, I didn't know until I accidentally saw you outside". I replied "Okay" and that's all. I decide to read a few chapters of my book today so I called my parents and chatted with them for a while then off my phone data so I won't receive any WA messages from anyone!! Yes, I mean it from anyone... You know who!! I was reading for almost an hour and I didn't realize that I dozed off which I am good at it. Around 8 plus I woke up and went to freshen up again and taught to continue my sleep again even it's too early for me. So I slept nicely till the next day morning I woke up around 7 am. I opened my eyes and was a bit blur as though I was in a new place and was looking at my room one kind. Suddenly my phone buzzed!! I checked and it was.....
