Following Boris's words, I quickly looked for Ray inside the Pack's house, stopping myself when I remembered how the Beta mentioned that he was not in the suite's office.
... In other words, thus making me look for him in the place that wasn't yet so familiar to me...
The old wooden door, all carved with details of ancient oak trees from top to bottom, was one that I had always walked straight through until now, never even stopping to see what it was supposed to look like inside despite Ray and William inviting me a few times.
... Which was quite weird, I must admit...
The place was just another office my Mate used in that big house, but somehow, I had this strong impression that I wasn't welcome there... Or rather saying that I shouldn't go in there.
