I knew it was only a matter of time, but I still couldn't wait without being able to explain it to her at least once. I decided I should go to her quarters in the evening because she would not be home now anyway.
A couple of hours later my phone started ringing and it was Dec.
"What happened, gorgeous? Did you speak with Connie?" My heart melted at the gentle tone of his voice.
"No... But I'm going to meet her tonight anyway."
"Hmm, ok. I was going to ask you on a date but I understand it's important to clear things with Connie. What about tomorrow? Would you go out with me?" Now suddenly his voice sounded sexy to me and I wondered if it was my system that seemed to process everything on its mind.
Everything about him made me blush.
"That would be a big YES."
He laughed.
