Chapter Thirteen
Killian's POV
I knew Jenny was lying about the errand for her mother. She must have tracked my phone to find me, which meant she'd gone out of her way to know exactly where I was. That alone told me my security around her needed tightening, especially now that Adele was involved.
My wolf lunged at the sound of her voice. I forced it back before anything showed on my face.
The last thing I needed was Jenny anywhere near that room. Adele was barely stable, and if Jenny figured out who she was or worse, what she carried, everything would fall apart before we even left France.
I shifted slightly, putting myself between Jenny and Adele's room while quietly masking her scent.
