Jozine gestured for Gavin to go ahead first while she will support him from the rear. The night is at its peak and the secluded alley where they are currently sneaking around is filled with nothing but darkness. Their only source of light is the two moons above the sky dimmed by the dark and heavy clouds.
"There are supposed to be countless beggars around this area but after we crossed the outer alley there are rarely beggars. Did they move somewhere else?" Jozine muttered a question which Gavin heard despite the distance.
"According to the knight's order that supervises this area, the beggars moved somewhere else, aside from that, a huge mansion is being built for a wealthy merchant, that merchant required that the construction workers are the beggars."
