Source of Undead "... aster! Master..." Zaire's head and ears are ringing. Did she drink too much beer last night? Ah, but, why did she even get drunk in the first place? What was she doing? "Mhm..." Groaning, she sat on her bed only to realize that the buzzing sound she was hearing wasn't a 'buzzing' sound at all. it was an explosion! Series of explosions at that. "Master...!!!" When she turned to her left, it was Rou fighting off several undead. He was flapping his wings violently, thus, the undead was sent flying maybe to outer space. She felt a little pity for them. 'May you rest in peace...' "Rou, what happened to me...?" She asked while looking around the place. Rou nudges his face on her face. She was surprised at the sudden contact since Rou was not the type to initiate kinship with her. He was obedient but her summon has never acted this way that it took her by surprise. She softly sighs with a small smile, how can she complain when Rou is cute this way too? His mane is so soft on her hands she can't help but be distracted. "Master fell from the sky, I tried catching Master but I was too late, there was a sudden light and I was unable to approach you for a moment, when it was gone, Master laid unconscious." It was then that she remembered what happened. She shivered then hug her body. She is alive! She thought her brain would have been scattered to the ground while her body is crushed, her image of her own dead body, when she fell, was so clear as if she was looking at herself in a mirror. But, this isn't the time for that. "How about the person who attacked me? Did you caught sight of that person?" Rou shook his head. Ah, his mane followed his movements. It was like in a hair shampoo commercial, but this time it's her summon's mane. 'Ah, he's cute.' She has a lot on her mind right now, she can already feel a tinge of a headache coming but she has no time for that, not yet. The fight to defend Griselda is not over yet. Zaire is not sure how she came to become Jozine, however, she is sure that she died on Earth. She has no recollection of experiencing death but when that person appeared behind her, soundlessly and instantly, she sensed an unexplained danger emitting from that person. That being whose entire body is silk black. There isn't anything on that being's face but his lips. It was creepy but what is more frightening is the darkness that loomed around that person. As she was falling helplessly, she caught sight of what looked like a shadow embracing that being. 'Oh right, my magic!' Zaire realized, she closed her eyes and started circulating the magic on her body. The small particles of different colors materialized themselves with her eyes close, the magic energy from her surroundings, as expected, because of the pillars that served as a magic-sucking barrier, the magic good energy is faint, however... Zaire opened her eyes. "The magic emitting off those corpses was disintegrating, it's not being sucked off." The dark and corroded colored magic energy isn't dense but scattered, but there is one place where the evil energy is coming from. Zaire stood up once she realized something. The seemingly endless undead that she thought were eliminated is still re-spawning somewhere. "Rou, go back to summoning plains first." "Yes, Master. I ask of you to be safe. Call upon me if anything happens that may need my assistance." Zaire paused for a second before she ruffled Rou's mane. The worry in his voice is still there but it looked like he trusted her. "Thank you, Rou. I'll summon you if anything happens." She promised while smiling. "I am relieved, Master." With that, Rou returned to the summoning plains. She checked herself first for any injuries that she might now be aware of, she even used healing magic and drank potions just in case but there really isn't wrong with her body, her brain, or her magic. If anything, she is in perfect condition as if she did not just fell to her almost-death moments ago. She looked up to the barrier that covers the city, for now, the barrier is her second priority. Zaire used flight magic, accelerated her flight magic through wind magic then flew towards the direction where the evil magic is denser. Just as she expected, it leads her to an empty lot covered in garbage. The dumpster site of Griselda. For a second, she thought it could be because of the wastes piled on the lot that the evil energy is denser in the place but her mind changed when she activated [Heavenly Eyes]. 'What's that...?' Beneath the pile of garbage is a magic circle, aside from that, there is three scattered magic circle around the biggest magic circle. The biggest circle is the source of dense evil energy. She contemplated on where to attack first since all magic circles need not any confirmation, it's the source of the undead. She doesn't even need to wait for the magic circle to spawn an undead because it is already dead. The magic circle spat what looked like an egg, the only thing is it's as big as she is. The said egg simply flew up not hindered by the garbage around it. It's transparent. Once the flew in the sky, it suddenly dropped to the ground, as expected, cracks formed on its body before the egg broke but instead of an animal or something, the broken egg released a– "... portal?" The egg's shells have disappeared. From that portal exited the undead. Zaire simply heaved a deep sigh before she scratched her head. It's troublesome, really troublesome. She summoned the tabulate and chose holy items and took them out. She scattered the Holy Magic Seal scroll around the place– as its name implied, its use is to seal the place from the outside, its similar to the barrier covering the city, the only difference is that its use against evil magic like this. She also took out five bottles of blue liquid named Tears of Slumbering Scholars, it is used to ward off evil energy from lurking around the place, she needs five because the entire lot is dense with it. Aside from that she also has enchanted weapons named Blest Needles of the Singing Saint– yes, it's a needle around twenty-five inches long, it's thin but the magic energy of it is no joke. She smirked. Now that she is fully prepared like this, she is ready for battle.
