Cruel Reality

~Diamond POV~

My world seems to stop everytime I see you. Your curly ash brown hair, your perfectly shaped nose, thin lips, dominant green eyes, perfect brows, sun kissed skin, perfect muscular built. I am drooling seeing you as I walk towards our next class.

"Please just one glace, one look and one smile for me."

"What are you mumbling?" my friend Fuchsia brought me out of my daze. "Oh, nothing", I replied. Then she trailed as to where my eyes set focused on. "Oh I see Ms. Dia, its the yummy Mr. Timothy Ymir again. Why don't you ask him out? I am sure he is into you too."Fuchsia giggled as she push me slightly towards Tims group. "Hey Sia stop it! We have to hurry on our next class, or else you have to deal with Ms. Evans unwanted attention for the whole period." I said trying to remain as natural as possible as we near Tim's group in the corridor. But oh dear goddess Luna knows how my heart is beating as fast as it could every time I'm near Tim. "Hey gorgeous, mind if I walk you to your class?" Ian, Tim's beta offered which earned him an annoyed face from Fuchsia. "Yeah we do mind you walking us to our class, don't you have a class of your own? "Sia replied annoyed. "But I'm not asking you, I'm asking Ms Gorgeous over there", Ian replied in a slightly annoyed voice too."Mr. Ian Stephen Davies, my friend got a name it's not miss gorgeous over there, it's D i a m o n d "answered Sia. I don't know how to react every time these two clashes, there's no peaceful ground for these two like they were born to be enemies. I glace at Tim who seems to not mind Ian and Sia's noises. And just focused his attention to his phone scanning through his social media account. It hurts to want his attention yet not even a glance was spared. Yes I got everyone's eyes everywhere I go but I don't need that, I only need his attention which is impossible to earned. We have been schoolmates since preschool and yet not even once did I saw him glace at me and now we are graduating seniors. I know I am pretty enough and I excel both in academic and sports to have earned his interest but no not a glace girl. If only he's the one who offered I will gladly accept. But no not a chance. I softly pulled Sia and politely declined Ian's offer."Thank you Ian, but we can manage" I smiled before I threw one last glace at Tim and left with Sia. Then I reminded Sia before we entered our class," Girl you better stop snaring at Ian, we might be found out to be wolves you know there's a lot of them here, sure we know them because we can smell them and they don't know we are wolves not unless they saw our eyes every time our anger flares up. So keep it cool girl or else we will be in trouble"."Dia it's just that I can't stand that good for nothing Ian" she replied rolling her eyes. Good thing Ms Evans is not yet in class when we walk in. Then there goes my everyday life at school longing for someone's attention. How I wish he is my mate. Speaking of which I am excited for my 18th birthday and it's a month away, that's when I will find my mate, hopefully he's just within the 2 packs here, hopefully it's Tim. Everyone in my family and Tims family hope that we will end up to be mates. Tim turned 18 last December but he didn't found his mate yet, maybe because his mate is either not here or not yet at her age to talk to her wolf. It is only when two wolves at age can find their mate, because it is their wolf who can detect their wolf mate and the feeling will be mutual with their human counterpart. As Tim is the only child of the Alpha of the Ymir pack, He is expected to have a strong luna, and among the unmated wolves of our age I am the best candidate. I am praying to moon goddess everyday that he will turn out to be my mate.

~Timothy's POV~

Hey Timothy Ymir here, only son and child of the Alpha of the Ymir pack. As the future alpha I am always expected to have control over my emotions to have a sound decision when time calls. Since I was a child my father thought me to never let my emotions control me but it should be the other way around. As you know our packs here in the Pacific have mutated and developed special abilities, one of my ability is that I am able to talk to my wolf at an early age, way too early to say. At the age of 5, I started talking to my wolf. Not only did I can talk to my wolf but I can also materialize him outside my body, to need to shift, like I can talk to him face to face, ride him, cuddle him and play with him. It all happened when I was 9, I am talking to my wolf when I wish I could see him and play with him. And he wants that too, since when werewolves shifts it is like the wolf is out and the human is in. The same goes if the human is in control the wolf is in. But we both want to be both outside so we decided to try. It took us almost a year to try n study our energies and my wolf explain to me how the shifting process, so yes we made it. Since I can not shift yet because I am only 9 and my bones are not yet that developed, we try to focused our energies and meet in between and we try to materialize ourselves in the real world. In our first try when we are able to control our energies we thought we made it. But we end up trap in the world without time. Not the inner self where the wolf or the human stays when one is in control. But a perfectly different world that we discovered and entered. In that world we were able to see each other, play and hold each other but little did we know that we are already missing for a month when we figured out how to come back. My parents the Alpha and the luna almost lost their sanity looking for me, and you know how much scolding did I get after that when I suddenly appear in my bedroom in front of my weeping parent. I explained everything to them and we decided to keep that as a secret for it is a world unknown to everyone and it might spike up jealousy. After that I can materialize my wolf to the real world but not too long about an hour or so, I also brought my parent to that unknown world. In that world I have complete control, I can materialize anything I want. We just went there for a little bit of time since we don't know how much time we are out in the real world.

As the years passed I learned to control more of my special ability, I can materialize my wolf longer outside the real world and as I went in and out of my world, I can also hide anything in that world including my emotions, my scent and my wolf. When my wolf is in that world and I am in the real world, other werewolf would mistake me for a human. It happened when Hari (that's my wolf's name) ask me if he could stay in that world for him to study and explore it more. When I walk into my parents room to ask if I could go with Ian (my best friend) for a bath in the cove, I got worry faces for their wolves can not detect their pup. That's when we realized that I can hide everything there including me being a werewolf and of course I am not allowed to do that because it will bring questions here in the pack if they can not detect my wolf. Wolf's children though they can not shift and talk to their wolf yet, but they already have their wolf in their soul and adult wolves can detect that. So from then on wherever am I my wolf should always be there we can not let one of us stay in that world alone else I will be mistaken as a human and my wolf will be mistaken as a plain big wolf. Another perks of this ability is that since I was 5 I already know who my mate is. Yes wolves are supposed to be both at age for them to detect their mates but not in my case. It happened when my parents brought me with them to visit our only neighboring pack and ally here in the pacific, the Telesto pack. As we entered their pack house, I smelled the most intoxicating smell of lavender. I thought maybe it's their air freshener and I sure like it. But little did I know that it is the smell of the prettiest girl I ever seen. She's Diamond Telesto the youngest child of the Telesto pack. My wolf is very anxious and howling in joy and as we neared her my wolf said "mate" she is our mate. I don't know what to do at that time as my wolf is starting to come out of me and materialize itself in the real world. So I run out of the pack house and into the woods. When I am sure that nobody is around, I went into that unknown world. My wolf is angry and snaring at me when we went in. He wanted to be out and be with our mate and mark her. "Hari we can not do that! We are only 5,and what did mom and dad told us? We have to keep this ability hidden!" I said trying to calm Hari down. "But that pretty girl is our mate! We have to be with mate. We have to mark mate or others will take her. I want mate! I want to be with mate!" Hari argued back.

"No one will take mate, she is ours, Luna gave her to us but we can not tell anyone yet not even mom and dad that she is our mate." I said in tears. "But why not tell everyone? We must tell them! She is mate! She is ours!" Hari said howling." We can't, we are just 5! We should figure out on how to leave this mate thing in this world." I sadly say to Hari. "No! I will not do that! I want mate! Be with mate! If you want to do it, Hari will not help, you do it yourself! Hari want mate! Hari want pretty girl!" Hari said angrily. "Fine I do it myself!" I said angrily too.

It took me the whole day, and too much going in and out of this unknown world then back to real word to figure out how to leave this mate thingy behind since Hari won't cooperate. When I finally got it, it was already dark and everyone in Telesto pack and my parent are looking for me. When they found me, my father is very angry at me. Because of my running and hiding, the supposed meeting was postponed and rescheduled the following day and we have to stay here for the night. "We will talk about this son when we came back to out pack" my father said in an angry voice."Come on Adam, the child is scared and hungry let it pass" mom said lovingly. "Celestina! We both know where he went and we both know he is not hungry! He can indulge himself in that world. You selfish bratt! The meeting is postponed because of your running! You have explaining to do when we get back to our pack and no playing for you for a month! You also have to help in the temple for a month!" my father said angrily."No! I won't go to that temple! monks are bald and scary! And they are humans, they are no fun!" I replied complaining. "Then hide and run again",my father said.

When we return to Telesto pack, we were brought to the guest room where we will stay. Mom took me for a bath, while in the bath mom ask me why did I ran away. "I just want to play with Hari in the unknown world" I lied. My mom did not buy my lie immediately and asked if she can talk to Hari. I reluctantly complied, worried that Hari might tell the truth. Luckily Hari told mom that He found a cove in the unknown world and wanted to show it to me. "That can wait, you can go to that world when we come back to our pack. Didn't we remind you both that this is a secret and no one should know aside from me and your dad. Next time, no going in that world when you are not inside your room and no one should be around. Is that understood?" mom reminded both me and Hari. "Yes mom it won't happen again" we said in unison. "Now hurry up return Hari inside and I will get you dressed, we will join them for dinner" mom said.

I return Hari inside and thank him behind my mind for not selling me out. "I just want to know more about mate, I want near mate in return" Hari replied. "Fine I want that too" I said.

After that incident, I try to know everything about Diamond, her favorite color, food, hobbies and friends silently and behind her back. I am more like her handsome stalker. If she is not watching, I enjoy seeing her smile, laugh and have fun with her best friend Fuchsia. I even have a collection of her photos since the time I first saw her in the unknown world. I am sending her favorite rose everyday in our locker since we were little, I even ask Ian to be close to her just for me to got close to her too.

~Present time~

"Dude, what was that? I keep all the talking and received all the hate from Fuchsia and you were just standing there with your phone. Surely Diamond like you, she keep on staring at you. You can ask her out and I am sure she will say yes! You keep on giving her roses since goddess luna knows when you started", my best friend Ian said. "Dude you know that I like her since then, and I will just wait until she turned 18, then I will confess to her", I replied. "You better, do that now while she is not yet 18 and did not find her mate yet. Look she is very gorgeous and damn so hot if she is anybody's mate, I'm sure that person won't let her go" Ian said which earned him a growl from me and I snarl at him. "She's mine, and only mine no one can take her except me". "Yo, keep it cool man, keep it cool, you might be found out, keep it down. I am just saying she can be your chosen mate now and if she ever find her mate when she turned 18 she can reject him cause she already have you" Ian said explaining which earned him again an angrier growl from me. " She can only have me as her mate and I'll make it sure that will happen!".Then I walked towards our gym class.

~Ian's POV~

That was intense, I never saw Tim that angry before. Sometimes I worry about his obsession towards Diamond. I am sure that Diamond has her eyes towards Tim and yet Tim doesn't want to make a move openly and kept it all in the shadows. If I had Diamonds attention I sure will have her, I mean who won't except Tim? Diamond is every guys dream in this campus, hot, gorgeous, sporty, kind and intelligent.A girl with a body to die for, big t**s, small waist, perfectly round, bouncy and sexy ass. That damn body is crying to be squeezed, shocked and f****d. So I don't understand Tim, why not make a move? Everyone knows that Tim has his eyes on Diamond so no one dare to make a move on her, it is like she already belong to him, and everyone else will just watched and enjoy the view praying that she won't end up to be his mate so there would be a slim chance to everyone. But just right now, I saw Tim murderous eyes that if she will not end up to be his mate he sure will force her to be mateless so that she can be his mate. Goddess luna please do not allow my best friend to murder Diamonds mate, and I sure won't want Diamond to be my mate and be the prey of Timothy Ymir. As his best friend and future beta, I am fully aware of Timothy's abilities, he can choose to exhilarate his prey immediately of kill him slowly. Yes Timothy is kind, handsome and just the perfect boy next door vibe that's everyone's view of him which earned him so many fans from ladies in this campus but trust me there's more to it than that perfect shell. He can be a total demon to his prey especially when it involves Diamond. Sometimes his obsession with Diamond turns him to a real psycho. I just hope things won't turned out that way.
