On Xie Feng’s instructions, others were stayed behind and try to help him in different ways.
Hao Jiang throws the bottle of fire every once in a while to distract the zombies and make them separate into two groups.
They wanted to help him but find it completely unnecessary.
Xie Feng’s Strength was obviously beyond their imagination.
The limbs of zombies send flying everywhere. The whole place was in a bloody mess.
There was 3 more gunshot resounds in the area.
“Who the f**k did use the gun in the open.”
Xie Feng cursed.
As zombies became more violent. Xie Feng could see the number of them coming was beyond his reach.
He is confident in taking them slowly but he could see their numbers were greatly increasing as there was something that was forcing them to move.
Thanks to Molotov explosions, they were halted and walked in another direction seeing the fire.
Seeing more of them coming towards him he runs towards the way where those gunshots resound.
In no time he leaves the zombies behind and takes cover in a corner.
Xie Feng got some time to breathe and let the black threads absorbing into him.
Slowly he could feel that he can control some amount of them to not enter his body right away.
The hot and cooling effect doesn’t disappear though.
Xie Feng start to understand his physique changes.
Every time he kills a zombie, a black thread came out of its skull and absorbs it into his body. At first, his physique was weak and it chilled his bone during the absorption process. As he keeps killing more and more zombies he found himself adapting to the effect of black threads.
Another thing he had noticed was that it takes more and more black threads to increase his strength. It is like his body was adapting so fast, few black threads have little to no effect in increase his power.
He reached the small alley at the side of the street and enter it.
There was a wall blocking the way going to another street side but now there was a large hole on it making it easy to cross the side.
Crossing the alley he could hear the people shouting sounds.
He climbs the building on his side with the help of a pipe attached to his side and reached the third floor.
From the height, he could see a group of people was trapped in the small shop. There were zombies present who kept banging the entrance of the shop.
Xie Feng waited for some more time to see their action but found disappointed as he can guess in few minutes the door will break and zombies will enter.
He thinks to do a little experiment to see if his bones were also changed with his muscles.
Taking a deep breath Xie Feng jump from the floor.
He used his legs to hit the ground then roll over to ease the impact.
‘Well, there is hardly any problem with jumping from that much height.’
Completely satisfied with his growing ability. Xie Feng took out his short sword and rushed to the zombies near the shop.
Without holding back he quickly solved the rampaging zombies in just a minute.
The group hiding inside watched the whole process with their mouth open.
“You-who are you?” One of them moved from his stance and asked in amazement.
They had never seen somebody killing those zombies so effortlessly.
“Were your group the one who was shooting?” Xie Feng didn’t answer him and asked his own question.
Before the other party had said something.
Sounds of zombies came from the front.
“We will talk later.” After saying he left their side.
His vision falls on various automobiles on the road and a quick plan formed into his mind.
I have to take action faster.
He quickly hit the vehicle’s fuel tank one by one on the road.
Xie Feng took out the lighter from his pocket.
He waited for zombies to passed on the road and calculating the right time.
He throws it in the fuel tanks of a truck in the middle of the road.
BOOM
The moment fire meet with flammable fuel, a large mass of fire engulfed the middle area. With the flame of the explosion, the other vehicles were also exploded like a chain reaction.
Xie Feng could see the zombies burning out completely inside the flames.
He brings the shocked group of people back to the tea house.
Seeing Xie Feng coming with new faces others were surprised.
Mrs. Chen gives them water and some biscuits to eat after seeing their bad condition.
After some time they understand the motive of their rash action.
“We just want to take them away from our base so they could not be a threat around us.”
“s**t, So you thought it was fine to send zombies by attracting them. Do you want all of us to be dead?” Guo Tong’s temper flared up when he heard them it was intentional.
It was a bad plan, a very bad plan.
Even if zombies can follow or are attracted by loud sounds.
You should not use that method. Because, when they move together their power was at its greatest and could easily destroy everything shown in their way.
Not only does it makes the more rampant. Their savage behavior to kill regardless of anything will put the other people in a difficult spot.
Xie Feng was sure if he were to not have enough strength. He had been dead under the previous horde.
Unless someone is confident enough to kill the majority of zombies he was attracting. There was a heavy rink involved with such acts.
Of course in a life and death situation, Xie Feng didn’t mind using such tactics and run away from them.
But this group of people not only attracted the zombie but after failed to do it properly and trapped themselves in a tight spot.
