Green Skin Zombie

Xie Feng felt a cold surface against his back as he tried to push his hand against the ground to lift him up.
He supports his other hand on his head trying to recover from the skull-crushing headache he was having.
As if someone was hammering his head from time to time he found it extremely difficult to keep his senses cleared. He could not guess the flow of time passing, the only thing he was sure of was he was safe for now in a closed place.
He recalled the moments before he fell into an unconscious state. From saving that lady and killing those zombies through burning their brains with the current cables.
After he remembered that he was also suffered from an electric current and then he splashed into the water with those zombies.
Xie Feng opens his eyes slowly and beholds his surrounding. He was in a small room. He moved backward slowly to rest his back on the wall.
After few minutes his headache calmed down and returned to normal. But, now there was a new problem.
His stomach was growling from hunger as if he was starved for months.
When he trying to thought of his hunger solution. The door of his room opened suddenly and a surprised voice came.
Xie Feng already noticed that somebody was approaching the door by the footsteps sound. So, he didn’t mind the sudden presence.
The person who came was familiar to Xie Feng. He was Hao Jiang.
“You are awake!?” Hao Jiang asked shockingly. The word unbelief was clearly showing on his little square face.
“Do I not look awake. ” Xie Feng answered his question with another question.
“No-No, I mean yes, of course, you were awake. ” Hao Jiang swallowed his more words after looking at how serious Xie Feng was. He found the tall awkward and don’t know what to say next.
“How come I am here? What had happened after I fell unconscious?” Xie Feng questioned him nonstop.
“stop-stop,” Hao Jiang called out hurriedly, " Let me call Brother Guo, he will tell you clearly. ”
Before Xie Feng opened his mouth again, Hao Jiang had already exited the room.
He sniffed something foul.
The extremely disgusting odor was coming out of his whole body. He smells like a garbage yard that must be invested by worms.
‘I had to found other clothes again. ’
Xie Feng thought of another of his common problem. Every time fighting with zombies stained his dress completely.
‘And a place to get a good hot bath. ’
In no time he heard hurried footsteps again.
This time Guo Tong was the first to enter the room following by Hao Jiang and a lady with a worried face.
“Haha, you are really fine. ” Guo Tong said with his loud laugh stepping to his side but stopped midway with a frown.
Xie Feng smiled at him seeing this.
“It’s fine. I just need a good bath and some new clothes to wore. ” He waved his hand at Guo Tong.
“it’s good to see you were fine. ”
“How were you able to tolerate such high current?” Hao Jiang asked. This question was also in other’s minds for a long time.
‘Their questions were so annoying. ’
He said in his mind but keep straight face from outside without any annoyance.
“How did you save me?” Xie Feng asked as if he didn’t hear his words.
On the other hand, he really wanted to knew what had happened after he fainted. He was afraid of anything strange that had been seen by these people. If possible he didn’t want his secret to be known by other than himself.
He was also thankful to them for bringing him out here.
“Actually, we don’t really save you,” Guo Tong’s facial expression changed listening to Xie Feng.
He still remembers that horror scene- a man reeking with blood shocked with cable currents and smoked so many zombies with him.
Thant was f*****g suicide.
Behind him, Fang Xin and Hao Jiang’s faces were also tensed and uncomfortable recalling those scenes.
They were still in disbelief how could a human keep stayed alive after suffering from such high voltage.
Guo Tong told him exactly what had happened after he fell.
It turns out that when he fell into the water. The cables were also dropped with him. At first, they thought that he was dead.
His body was already stained with blood which made them thought it was his and his body was filled with cuts and tears.
After almost four hours they kept checking the surroundings and found the current cable had exhausted its electricity by seeing the voltage had been disappeared.
For confirmation, they tried to check it through the remaining current cable hanging by the side and found the electric supply had been really been cut off.
Fang Xin said to at least move your body out of bloody watered to not stay with those zombies. There were wooden sticks in the building with the help of them they pushed him outside from the water, they saw his body was still warm and the faint sounded of his heartbeat could be heard.
They didn’t know what to did in that situation and carefully moved your body to this room.
After listening to everything, Xie Feng looked at Fang Xin gratefully.
“Thank you”
“There was no need to thank me. If you didn’t throw that rock before I would be dead already. ” Fang Xin said out hurriedly. She found herself extremely lucky to keep alive at this point.
“We tried to found some medicine or bandages to help your wounds but there was none in this place. ” Guo Tong said in a sleepy tone.
Xie Feng could saw he was tired and had black bags under his eyes. Clearly, he hadn’t got to sleep properly.
“You already had done enough for me. I was grateful to all of you. ” He shook his head and said with a faint smile.
Suddenly he held his stomach.
His face distorted in pain.
“Ahh! were you okay?” Fang Xin called out seeing his sudden condition.
Xie Feng moved his lips to make out a bit of grin.
“I was fine, just a little bit hungry. ” his voice got low as he spoke.
Hearing him calling out of hunger. They also realized they too hadn’t eaten for the whole day.
“We had found a convenience store just at the corner of this street. ” Fang Xin said thinking of something else. There was cleared tension in between her eyes.
“Is there something?” Xie Feng asked seeing their tension.
“The front of the store had been blocked by zombies. There were at least twenty of them. ” Hao Jiang said truthfully. He had seen Xie Feng fighting those zombies and somehow felt ashamed to not even kill one zombie so far.
Xie Feng was speechless for a while hearing them.
They were three adults and could easily take down those zombies just by baiting them few of them.
‘What I was thinking. ’
He suddenly realized not everyone had got his kind of strength and immunity from zombie infection.
“If there were zombies present then why hadn’t you killed them,” he said looking straight into their eyes.
“You said we had wooden stuck here. Those were enough to shatter their skull. ” seeing them unresponsive he said again.
“We wanted to but there were many of them. If we attacked everyone would come to attacked us jointly. ” Guo Tong finally said about the thing they were afraid of.
They really had wanted to attack the zombies and entered the store to salvage the food and watered but they found it difficult just based on their strength.
“Come with me. ” Xie Feng said the sentence and stood up from his place.
“Wh-where were you going?”
“To kill some dead f***s and got something to fill me up. ” He left through the door saying this sentence.
The trio behind looked at each other don’t know what to do.
They helplessly followed Xie Feng to came to the corridor of the building. From there they could saw zombies roaming the street.
Before Xie Feng killed the last ones within the water. There had been come more just after few hours they moved him into the building.
“What are you going to do?” Fang Xin asked frowning her eyebrows.
They saw him holding a thick wooden stick looking down the street.
They could not understand why Xie Feng brings them here.
Xie Feng didn’t said anything instead picked up a pebble from the ground and threw it at the nearest zombie.
