The Goodnews
"You're beautiful," he said, tucking a fallen strand of my hair behind my ear.
I blushed so badly that I could feel my face hot.
I looked deep into his eyes, and I could see his hunger for me. I could see how much he wanted me, and I loved it.
"You look good too," I said, trying not to sound like a little blushing girl.
He smiled at me, his eyes filled with love for me.
"I want you, Stacy, I want all of you," he said as he leaned closer, and I could feel his breath on my face. He leaned in, and............wtf!!!!!!!
An alarm sound?
You've got to be kidding me!!!!
Not a dream!!!!!
I groaned awake as I turned off the alarm.
I thought it was real all this while. Why couldn't it be real? Wait, am I having a wet dream about my boss now? Technically, he's not yet my boss, but still....not cool, Stacy. But it's fun!!! Lol.
Damn, that dude is hot. I don't blame you, Stacy, dream on as you wish.
I was about to go back to sleep so I could continue my dream when my phone rang.
Ohhhhhhh, who's this now?
No caller ID, huh? No one's asked me out recently, so I don't know who'd call me with no caller ID.
But still, I despise this person for stopping me from continuing my dream.
"Who the hell is this?" I asked in annoyance and frustration.
"Is this how you'd talk to our client, Miss Stacy?" Mr. James said at the other end of the phone.
What???? Oh no, I'm doomed. Shiiii, I knew I should have been nice.
"Ummm, sir, um, nooo, good morning," I said, stuttering, trying to fix my morning hair and checking my breath like he's even seeing me.
Stupid girl.
"Did you just check your breath?" he asked, amused.
How did he know that?
"Um, no, no, I didn't, sir," I stuttered again.
"Well, I want you in the office in the next 30 minutes. I've got a meeting, and I want you to be there," he said with command.
"Urghhh, shiiiiii, um, OK," I replied.
"And you need to learn to stop cursing, Stacy," he corrected.
"Shiiii, um, I mean, yes, sir,"
"OK, see you in the next 25 minutes," he said and hung up.
Oh damnnnn girl, you just got the job!!!!!!!
I'm super excited but super scared and super anxious, too.
I got up and entered the bathroom to take my bath.
When I was done, I braided my hair. I love putting my hair in braids. It makes me look smart and pretty, too.
I put on a bodycon dress, showing off my shape. My ass popped out.
Perfect, I thought.
I wore my perfume; it made me smell like a rose.
I walked downstairs to see my mom and dad having breakfast.
"Good morning, Pookie," my dad said, smiling at me.
"Good morning, dad," I replied, happy.
"Baby, you look happy and beautiful too," he said, observing me.
"Yeah? Well, I'm going to work," I said with a smile.
"OK, girl, you got the job!" he said, giving me a high five.
"See, Gracie, I told you she'd get the job," dad said to my mom.
"Hmm, it's good she did," she said firmly.
She has never acted like she's impressed or proud of me.
"Well, I gotta go now. I have a meeting to attend at work. Ohhhh, it sounds so goooooood," I said, laughing so hard just to annoy my mom.
"Yes, baby, it does," he said, laughing with me.
"OK, see ya," I said, taking an apple from the counter as I walked out the door.
I got into my car and drove to see my man... I mean my work.
..............
"Good morning, Linda," I said as I walked to the front desk.
"Good morning, Stacy," she said, again, not looking up from her computer screen. Is this lady obsessed with her computer or what?
"I'm supposed to be in a meeting with Mr. James now," I said, trying to get her attention.
"You're late," she stated.
"I'm sorry, I just found out 30 minutes ago," I tried explaining.
"He doesn't like excuses," she stated again.
Well, you could save time and tell me where the meeting is being held, I thought.
"Third floor, down the hall, the conference room on your left," she explained.
"Thanks," I replied and walked as fast as I could to the elevator.
When I walked into the room, the voices stopped, and all eyes were on me.
I stood at the door, not knowing what to do. I was about to run out of the room out of shame. Anxiety was eating me up, and I was about to have a panic attack when I heard him.
"Miss Stacy, please have a seat and stop commanding attention," James said and pointed to a seat at the other end close to him.
I took the seat and mouthed a thank you.
The meeting went on, and I took notes. I noticed his eyes drifting toward me once in a while. And sometimes, they lingered around my thighs. I tried to focus on the meeting, so I'd take correct notes.
When the meeting was done, everyone walked out of the room, leaving just me and James.
He got up, walking past me as he said, "My office, now."
"OK, sir," I said as I ran after him to his office.
I'm so in trouble.
