Sasha froze before she slowly looked up. I smiled slightly when our eyes met. She sat straight and smiled but I saw the way the color drained from her face. She was trying to keep it cool but I know that she knew I noticed her true feelings.
For a moment, I thought she will deny it. Instead she sighed in resignation. The tension drained from her body as she admitted, “He has always been that way about me. Not because he is naturally dense but because it just never occurred to him that we can be something more than friends. He never considered that I can grow feelings for him. Anyway, I just got used to liking him on my own.”
