Zayne ran as fast as he could to his room, messaging Jeremy on the way to put everything he needed into a backpack and go to his room when he was ready. Right before he reached his hall, he crashed into someone.
“Woah, where’s the fire?” Alpha James asked with a chuckle, but his smile faltered when he noticed Zayne’s serious face. “Alpha Zayne?”
“Do you trust me?” Zayne asked quickly. Having met Alpha James on quite a few occasions over the years, Zayne felt like he could trust him. The question now was if James would believe him over Alpha Arthur, but Zayne felt like he owed him the chance to decide for himself.
