The next morning, after a light breakfast, Blake called the pilot of his jet and informed him that he and Nicola would be at the airport the following morning. Once he hung up, he called the office and checked his messages. There were a few. Making a mental note to return the calls tomorrow afternoon, Blake placed his cell phone on the bedside table. He put the dirty dishes on the food cart and wheeled it to the door. Then, as usual, he left it in the hallway and returned to the room.
