The Captured Cannibal

Blake was feeling thirsty and his nudity was causing his second hand embarrassment so despite being scared he tries to speak to the people around him . To his horror he discovers that his voice won't come out . He desperately tries to shake the bars and grab their attention to tell them in sign language but they won't pay attention , instead he was poked with spears , although thankfully one of them who was probably their leader , stopped them .

While being escorted through the town , the captured Blake saw different kinds of structures , which he had only seen in movies and fantasy shows . When the carriage stopped he saw what seemed like a palace . Blake was chained and brought into a hall where many people were sitting . According to his Blake's guesss it was the court room and the one sitting in front of him must be some high level person . His self respect respect was destroyed when they laughed at his naked body filled with scars and tears flowed from his eyes , however seeing the people who brought him kneel and bow in front of the king he did the same , shocking everyone who started discussing . The king ordered them to be silent and asked Blake his identity . Since he wasn't able to speak , he tried to tell him by making signs that he can't speak , his voice won't come out . Other than that he didn't know what was happening and what to say .

The king called out someone and came a tall muscular woman , almost nude with chains only barely covering her womanly parts . She came near him , stood before him and looked in his seductively . Confused , Blake gives her a blank look . Seeing him unaffected the woman proceeds to run her hands through his body . The proceedings were too much for the thirsty boy , he was perplexed . The woman looked at the king and he nodded , thereafter she started beating him up which send Blake into rage . Miraculously his voice came back when he yelled at her , stopping the woman . He screamed at her to get away from him and insulted her badly to the point of making her teary eyed . He then proceeds to berate the people around him and badmouth the king for unnecessarily humiliating and torturing him when he is naked and defenseless . The king warns him to watch out his words or he will be subjected to punishment .

The leader of the guys who brought him explains that he was being tested of being a Cannibal since he climbed up from the valley and wasn't registered with the adventurer guild . Blake understood what they meant to do . He realized that it will be no good if he tells the truth , so he says that he doesn't remember his past . He tells them that when he gained consciousness the so called Cannibals caught him and tortured him which resulted in the scars that he has on his body . He further informs that he's been running away from them since days and climbing the mountain to escape , however when he reached the top he was captured by them.

The king and his subordinates discuss and approve of him as a human . The king orders the Commander to get Blake healed, provide some clothes and release . He further orders to tighten the checking near the border so that nobody other than adventurers goes outside .

The Commander who brought Blake takes him away . Blake asks him if he could get some water . The Commander provides him with water and a medicinal drink to heal the damage done to his body . He was surprised by the amount of water the boy drank . The Commander gets him some clothes and asks if he trained to became a guardian . Blake asks if he meant adventurer since he saw this in the dream. The Commander agrees and explains that the amount of damage he endured from that woman can't be tolerated by some average person . Blake says that he doesn't remember , although in his mind he regretted saying the lie of losing his memories . There's no telling what would have happened if he told that he got there through an unknown portal from some another world or place .

Blake questions the the king's decision since he should have taken responsibility and tried to find out who he is as he doesn't remember anything .The Commander says that the king isn't worried about such trivial things and ones it's confirmed that he's just a normal human they won't delve into the issue anymore . Blake thinks about the future and wished that the King should have done for him . Before leaving him out of the palace the Commander advises him to go to the guild because chances are high of him being an aspiring adventurer . Blake thanks him for the advice and his kindness but laughs in his mind .
