Chapter 10: Criers and Rotunda
July 7. Evening.
Jax walked into something he shouldn’t have at Auggie’s apartment. Auggie wasn’t at home, which was no surprise, since the man had a busy social life, gallivanting around Eastwind on his days off. Nor was it a surprise that Jax made his way inside Auggie’s place without announcing himself; a living arrangement that they had both agreed to and carried forth because they had lived across from each other, plus they were best friends, and it was so damn easy to do, comfortable with each other.
