Chapter 6 - The Duel

1608 Words
Mathew's POV I broke down when my son challenged me. What did I do so that my son became like this? I had to accept when a duel is presented to me. My son wanted to duel till death. What's wrong with him? At that moment, a rogue smell hit me. I looked around frantically thinking a rogue had attacked. My son! Oh no! Why does my son have that foul smell on him? "Looks like you are up to date as well, dad." "When did you denounce the pack, son?" Dark came forward bewildered. "Oh! Come on, please don't tell me the witch I found is actually good." Alexander laughed. Had he hidden his smell? But when did he? "To answer your questions, I did that back eight years ago." He continued as if he understood how the wheels in my mind turned, "Thanks to the b***h here. I think she awoke me." At the mention of the name-calling, the growls were around the room again. "Oh! Quiet it down, will ya?" He just shrugs and looks at all the Storm Moon Pack wolves. The door of the conference room opens, and in walks Elder Nicholas, the head of the council. I was sitting on the floor with my back to the wall, defeated. Can this day be any worse? When did the Elder arrive? Why didn't I feel anything? I asked Dark as well. Nope, neither of us felt anything. Unknown's POV A balance snapped. It felt like a power surge through my veins. As if my Alpha wolf stirred again and howled to the moon. I have just been wandering in the woods. It's already sundown and I guess it's time for dinner too. My soul pulled towards the packhouse. I hated being in the midst of politics. I walked away from the packhouse, almost reaching the borders when I saw the Beta of my pack, Davis Ferras Strong, lingering just outside the borders. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Alpha Matthew asked us to be here at the border, just in case." "Why would he ask that? I don't feel any threat. I only felt a snap coming through my bond. Did you feel it as well?" Yes, Alpha. But we don't feel anything wrong with any members of the pack. I don't understand. Mind if you go and check? I can't enter by Alpha's orders." At the same time, his phone dinged and I was pulled in a mind-link, "Brother, could you get the Beta Davis to come to the packhouse. Please command him to come with just 2 warriors." "Command? Why do you want me to command? I haven't been involved in your politics since you took the title. Plus, you know I don't have my wolf. And Davis and I are standing next to each other. Why do you tell me this, when you can just let him know?" "Brother," he paused, "I can't communicate with someone beyond this pack's borders. Even if he is standing beside you. I don't know why." "That's strange. I will let him know." I shut the mind link as I turned to the Beta who was looking at his phone deep in thought. I relayed the message of my brother, to which he simply replied with a hmph. I have no idea what the message is on the phone, that has got him so worked up. He turned and nodded to the 2 warriors and entered the territory. I turned as I saw, Storm Moon Pack warriors do a body check and lead them to the packhouse. While I was casually but attentively walking around the packhouse, I felt the errie in the environment. Now the question is, should I or shouldn't I get involved? Every fiber in my being is pulling me to Storm Moon's packhouse. However, without my wolf, I am just a human. Nicholas's POV Oh, the Moon Goddess! What kind of a son does that? I asked my wife to stay there as I rushed to the conference room. She nodded in understanding. While I was entering, I heard something about Elena waking him up. "What is your purpose, Alexander?" I commanded with authority, forget all the formalities. "Aint that clear, Elder? I want Elena as my candy. Am asking the poor excuse of my dad to make the deal happen." He shrugs as if he and I are some long-lost friends. All the wolves, including his father, Alpha Matthew growls. I turned my attention to Alpha Matthews, the poor soul. He is deeply troubled. That's what you sow and that is what you reap. Goddess forbid, what kind of temperament and nurture did he give his only son to get the demon out of him? "Alpha Matthew, call your Beta. I am aware your brother is here as well. But, to my understanding, he is not involved in pack matters. If the son is asking for a duel. He has to ask, on your pack's territory in front of your people by law. Right now, you and he and the place can't represent themselves either." Alpha Matthew nodded and followed my directions. "Alexander." He cut me in between saying, "That is Alpha for you." To which I replied, "Alexander, without a pack you can call yourself whatever, but never an Alpha. That is Basics 101. Anyhow, the challenge you want is nullified here on this pack lands. Considering the severity of the situation, I am going to call the council. We will reconvene at your previous pack, Thunder Moon, and should you choose to challenge the present alpha, Alpha Matthew Dark Thunder, you can do so. However, your stay at Storm Moon has been revoked by the tyranny you have shown. You will be escorted out in silver chains considering your temperament as an added precaution for the safety of this pack." "I WILL NOT LEAVE WITHOUT ELENA STORM!" Alexander and Rex growled so loudly that you could see black smoke emitting from his body. Our wolves were brought to the surface at his proclamation. We were all seething at this point. The control was wearing off and I knew I had to contain him before things got out of hand. I commanded his wolf, "You will follow all the orders commanded by me, Elder Nicholas Reggie Moon, Head of the Supernatural Council." I could see his wolf Rex bowing to submit, however, the human part of him held his head high and smirked, "Very well then." Alexander's POV "It's time for a little surprise. Ah! I can feel Beta Davis has almost arrived. Come in" I said loudly. The door opened, in walked Beta Davis with two warriors. One of the warriors was my friend from high school, the man I wanted to make my Beta, Brian Jax Thunder. "Meet my future Beta, Brian Jax Thunder. Or let's say my Beta, Brian. Brian has been training in our pack. He is my uncle's son. We both disagreed with the ways things are run in the pack. It was Brian who slept with a witch and, in return, we were able to denounce our packs. Yes, there is a handful in our pack. We call ourselves The Blacks. To answer your question, Elder Nicholas, we are a pack. And you will remember to call me by my Alpha Tittle." As Brian stood behind the door, calmly I went over to stand beside my dear Elena. I lowered myself to the height of her eyesight, and put a stray hair behind her ears while twirling them in my fingers. I smiled as she huffed with her angry look. Oh, it turned me on. My d**k twitched. That's what I love about this girl. She is so feisty. It will be so much fun to tame her, then ride her. I was pulled out of my thoughts with the growls around. "f**k! You guys do know how to dampen the mood." I took a sharp breath, "Now, now, now." I said as I pulled out my phone to display the screen. "Who do we have here?" I think I relayed my message as gasps came all around the room. I gave them time to realize as all the big mighty commanding men fell to my feet one after the other. I simply smiled as I took Elena's delicate hand and pulled her closer to me. Grabbing her by the waist and nuzzling at the crook of her neck, I then licked the spot where I would mark her. Without even looking around, I said, "I want the ceremony to begin exactly 24 hours here at this pack. I want to attend a once-in-a-lifetime event. I want you all to be ready." My sweet Elena still tried to struggle in my embrace. There was tension in the atmosphere but that didn't matter to me. My Elena was looking amazing in red lipstick that I wanted to bite for such a long time. I smacked my lips on her and sucked her deep. She fought, of course, but I held her in place with one hand. As I felt the linen of her panties under her jumpsuit. Pushing the linen, I poked my finger roughly around her p***y, opening her lips. I bit her full red lips, tasting her blood, "When I leave this territory safely tomorrow after the marking ceremony, your boy will appear in this very room. The witch will deliver the boy." With that, I just pushed her away and walked away out of the room with my Beta hot on my heels with style. Duh!
