I heard the insane buzz of the alarm clock from under the water,but still I wasn't yet ready to pull my head up. My eyes shut close against the cold feel of the water,it's chill piercing my skin in a oddly comfortable manner that somehow I strangely loved. I held my breath,my body as still as a statue well fitting inside the bathtub, finding a remarkable comfort in the eerie silence of the water. I could feel the peace that stood within,magically quieten the maddening voices in my head.
I wanted to last longer a bit,but unfortunately I had something far much better to do here at home, taking the day off with Martin constantly updating me of things happening in the Company. I smiled shrewdly.
