The Birthday

Natalie's POV I turned on the king sized bed,the white sheets covering me. I squinted my eyes due to the bright sun rays that filtered in. It's morning already. I shot up immediately, taking a peek at the gigantic clock that hung on the golden tall wall of Glamorous Hotel in New York. It was just few minutes past eleven. I seriously can't believe I slept so long. I tried pushing my self out of bed, my nostrils attesting to the sweet pleasantness that stood in the air. I clutched tightly my nighties,snapping my head to the direction of the scented air. Then I froze at the sight before me. Roses. I stared for a while,my blue orbs noticing a card stuck to it. I pulled up the bouquet of roses, wrapped gorgeously in pink. I took out the card and read. 'Happy birthday Natalie. Smiles'
