Mia's P. O. V Sounds of glass breaking echoed from the second floor and I rushed upstairs. I followed the noises and reached his study. After pushing the slightly ajar door open, a messy room filled with shattered glass came into my view. Jusy was cleaning the shattered glass shards from the floor. My eyes wandered through the room until they landed on the wheelchair near the window. There he was, sitting in a wheelchair in a pair of trousers and a white shirt. His face was as handsome as I remembered when I met him for the first time five years ago. His once well-built mighty body was now a bit thinner due to lack of exercise but it didn't make him less attractive. The accident did some damage to his nerve that made it difficult for him to stand but I never imagined a day when I would have to see him like this. My eyes fell on the drops of blood on the carpet near his wheelchair. Only then did I saw the deep cut in his hand. I rushed forward to check his injury. "You're hurt," I said as I searched for the first aid kit in his study. I could feel a burning stare but I chose to ignore it. After searching a few drawers, I finally found the first aid kit. When I turned around with the small box, I realized Judy had left the room. I slowly walked near him with my thumping heart. I knelt beside his wheelchair and took his hand on mine. The cut wasn't too deep but it needed urgent care.
