Fallen petals carpeted every inch of the small courtyard. I tucked Nora's urn into my backpack. It was time to go to the amusement park on the outskirts of town. It was the place Nora had chattered about going to countless times before. I was going to make that wish come true for her. I would take her to see all the beautiful things she had dreamed of for so long. I had barely reached the mouth of the alley when I spotted Julian's car parked under the old locust tree.
