Detective Dickson 5 : Existential Pandemic

Unravelling the mystery

Tommy looked at his phone, Lefinna had instantly cut the call when he told her about Ron, she said she was on her way, they were in Ron's chambers in the castle, he was also with Redoulp, Reg, Alucard and Daniel, each were dressed in a white tuxedo suit, Ron's room was quite big, like a top tier room at a Las Vegas 5-star hotel, it was even decorated more nicely, with a silver chandelier hanging from the room, a king sized bed and different expensive furniture and ornaments.

"Dang, my man sure got taste" Tommy inspects the room as his eyes open wide, he sure did enjoy what he was seeing, almost immediately, a whitish blue light surrounds the room, out of it steps Sarah and Lefinna, Sarah was dressed in a sweat shirt and jeans while Lefinna was dressed like a typical assassin, putting on her tight black Gothic metallic catsuit (similar to the one Selene from Underworld wears), it was really tight as it brought out her glorious curves.

"What happened to him?" Lefinna asks as she moves around the room.

"We don't know" Redoulp began.

"What do you mean you don't, a grown ass man doesn't just disappear without a trace, have you tried sourcing for his soulic energy signature" Sarah asks.

"The first thing we did" Daniel began

"But it's the same as what happened when we were dealing with Dickson, we can't trace it."

"By the way" Reg says looking at Sarah, then turning back at Lefinna before looking back at Sarah again

"Where's Dickson?" Sarah's face immediately turned to a sour expression.

"He had a visit from an unpleasant old acquaintance, seems like he pissed her off in the past" Lefinna quickly answers, she was bending, placing her hand on the floor.

"Was she hot?" Daniel asks, red all over his cheeks.

Everyone turns at Daniel, they each wore disappointed looks.

"Your stupidity is inimitable" Alucard says in a sharp tone.

"I think what Danny means is, who is she?" Tommy asks.

"She calls herself an angel..." Lefinna began, Sarah turn towards Lefinna amazed.

"I read your memories, don't forget, I am telepathic, nothing gets pass me" comes Lefinna's voice in her head.

"...She put d**k into an indefinite sleep, I suppose it's connected to what happened to Ron" Lefinna continues.

"And why do you assume that?" Reg asks.

"Based on the state of this room and the identity of you all that are present, I say Shylock is the one responsible."

"That's pretty fast, I hope you do have proof for this accusations" Alucard asks.

"It's obvious, regarding the essence scatterings in this room, I refrain from calling it energy since I can't pinpoint which type or form, I can sense Shylock's presence and it's very recent, also this appears to be his first time, Shylock never got along with any of us, always the loner. About the essence, it's similar to the one of the woman that attacked us, I don't sense any hostile intent between the essence and Shylock's presence, almost like they were in unison" Lefinna began as she rises to her feet.

"What are you suggesting, it sounds crazy" Reg says aloud.

"Of course it does, my elite would never betray me" Alucard says in unison.

"Why are you so confident of his loyalty?" Lefinna asks now facing Alucard

"You haven't exactly been very nice to him, it's obvious he loves your daughter yet you treat him harshly whenever you figure out those two are together, neglecting the fact that you put him under someone like Irinova who has done despicable things to him."

"Lucky guy, he did it with Iri, wish I was the one" Daniel mutters out.

Everyone turns at him, their faces wore great disappointments.

"I have got to go" Redoulp says breaking the awkward silence as everyone looked at Daniel.

"What's happened?" Tommy asks.

"It's Kate, I can feel when she's in trouble, there's something wrong, I think it's the baby" Redoulp says muttering chants under his breath.

"Wow, so you two are pregnant, how did I miss the good news?" Tommy smiles.

"She didn't feel it was necessary to broadcast it" Redoulp answers, a portal had already formed as he turns back at Lefinna

"Like the son of a d**k, I trust your deductive skills, this past few months that the son of the d**k has been unavailable, you have been able to successfully pinpoint and analyse potential threats accurately, I trust you very much but I don't think Shylock will turn on us, remember, he once attacked son of the d**k when he was under a spell, he might be charmed again" Redoulp ends as he enters the portal.

"Yeah, that's right, it could be a charm spell" Alucard says in his defense.

"It's a possibility" Lefinna answers

"I am not very versed with the angelic so comprehending the heights of their abilities is currently impossible for me."

"Well, if she's the type of person I think she is, she will be sure to strike back" Sarah says.

"Wait" Lefinna says with a concerned look as she turns back at Reg

"You are his best friend, briefly describe what happened."

"He just said he wanted to get something from his room" Reg began

"We waited for a long while, when he didn't come back and I knew it was unusual, so we decided to check on him and he was gone."

"Did he mention what he wanted to get?" Lefinna asks.

"Yes, said he was feeling sweaty and he needed powder" Reg answers.

"Now who has heard of a werewolf sweating" Lefinna grins, her question caused everyone in the room to have amazed looks on their faces.

"Are you saying..." Alucard began.

"Not just saying, it's what happened, a little and possibly unnoticeable spell was casted on Ron just to get him to move away from you all, it couldn't have been the angel, she's more than strong enough to defeat you all except Alucard and Tommy, your essential manipulation and Limgro seal is too much even for her to handle" Lefinna begins

"Ron is the strongest werewolf, said repeatedly to have defeated even Katharina in the past, he posses an ability called true bane, the ability enables everyone with a murder intent against him to lose all sense of awareness and no one knows about that ability not even him, I know about it cause I can analyse anyone, know their current abilities and even the potential ones, angels are not omniscient meaning Shylock already figured that somehow, hence the reason to take out Ron."

"Does Redoulp have any latent ability that can prove troublesome for the angel" Tommy asks, his face with fear.

"He is versed in more spells than every creature in this universe combined, if we are to face him, we would have a lot of trouble putting him down" Lefinna begins as she turns towards her husband

"Darling, why did you ask?"

"Cause he just got separated from us" Tommy whimpers.

Redoulp arrives in a room, it was his the training room where the royal soldiers came occasionally to spar, it was decorated with all forms of weapons ranging from different brands of swords, spears, shields, mallets, axes, armour and so much offensive and defensive armoury.

This place was amped with a magical spell which made it practically indestructible no matter the damage, it was even far more potent than the Jelly O spell that Sarah had invented, Redoulp had simply learned the spell from her and evolved it beyond Sarah could understand.

"So this is where she said I should meet her, how unusual, I didn't know she came here" Redoulp says looking around.

"That's cause she didn't" Shylock says, he was at the other end of the room, he had a creepy smile on his face and he held a silver scimitar with a black handle.

"What folly is this?" Redoulp asks aggravated.

"You see, I figured out Ron's abilities once, remember the time when we we first met d**k and Shekindra struck" Shylock began.

"Of what use is an insignificant past event" Redoulp asks still fuming.

"Don't be such a bitetard" Shylock began with a mild smile

"I found Alucard battling with Katharina against the Giants, it amazed me that Katharina's elites were not present, she takes them everywhere so I told Master Alucard I will call the rest when really, I just went through the city to look for Ron, I met him chanting this spell with Reg, the one which supposedly boosts all werewolves abilities but there was something different about Ron, he was purple like the rest of them but the color in his eyes when he opened it wasn't glowing like the rest, it was just whitish, then I looked at the giant mod-arachnes, before they were fighting really aggressive but after that spell, they stopped, most of them were just stagnant, it amazed me, I made my findings about the spell and such wasn't included, it was then that I knew Ron had a hidden immense ability that even he was ignorant of."

"So why are you dispensing this information to me, do you want a round of applause?" Redoulp ask still visibly annoyed.

"I think that would be in order, I mean I noticed a future threat just like I am going to eliminate one now" Shylock smiles as his scimitar began to radiate.

"I suppose the mortal was right, so you are in cahoots with this abominable angel, no matter, I shall squash you like the insolent child you are and cause you to give up the location of the werewolf elite" Redoulp says as he accelerates from the ground.

"Well then, prepare to be disappointed" Shylock grins as he dashes at Redoulp, it was a distance of seventeen feet but the daring vampire covers it in a mere four zeptoseconds as he swings his weapon at Redoulp but a wave of energy shoots out of nowhere knocking Shylock backward and opening a hole in his chest.

"Missed my heart but still hurts" Shylock grunts.

"By the time I am done with your impudent self, your familiarity with pain shall be exponentially increased" Redoulp says as he appears behind Shylock, two portals appear behind him, four green giant arms come out, one of the arms carrying Shylock, crushes him against the ground furiously, before tossing him to another hand which squeezes his head vehemently turns him over and grab his feet, hitting his body continually on the floor like a defective equipment before passing him on to the third arm, the third arm knocks him repeatedly on the floor crushing and breaking every bone and squishing every organ in his body, after the arm was done, it tosses him over to the fourth arm which becomes two as Shylock approaches, it claps against him speedily before tossing him over to another hand, the five arms continue that process, tossing him amongst each other like a ping pong ball before Shylock finally drops to the floor all battered and broken, he looked like a bloody mess.

"That's classic entertainment, you foolish child, are you ready to talk or you want more punishment" Redoulp asks approaching the injured vampire.

"Well, you have attacked, now, it's my turn" Shylock says getting up to his feat, his body healing and regenerating at an unbelievable pace.

"Children can really be so obstinate" Redoulp frowns but Shylock dashes towards him, he was even faster than before, about hundreds of time faster, he tried to hit Redoulp but Redoulp easily leaps away.

"You made a mistake dodging that" Shylock grins, just as he says that, Redoulp hits the ground behind, a rune mark on the ground activates, exploding and sending him towards Shylock's direction.

"You see, getting tossed by your arms weren't the only things happening, I was also setting a few traps, I have a few tricks of mine" Shylock grins as swings his scimitar but Redoulp catches it mid air, causing shock waves to flow around the room, Redoulp mutters series of spell as fast as he could sending a fire ball towards Shylock's direction but Shylock vibrates his body as fast as he could causing him to become intangible thereby penetrating through the ball and landing directly in front of Redoulp.

"Claws of Dracula" Shylock shouts aloud as giant dangerous fangs shoot out from all over the ground, Redoulp dodges it easily even though it kept shooting out faster than even Shylock could keep up with yet Shylock wasn't discouraged, seeing that Redoulp was preoccupied with the fangs, he presses on with his attack, launching forward with his weapon, when he was sure he had found a blind spot, he launched forward but an arm grabbed him by his feet, it was a flash but the imbalance caused him to drop his weapon, before he could see what it was, the arm throws him half way across the room.

Shylock grunts as he stands up, he looked over from where it was thrown, it was a green creature which looked like an overgrown ogre standing about ten feet in height, it had six arms, the arms were so large, it was unmistakable, these were the arms which were using him to play tennis earlier.

"GHHWAAAHAAHA" the ogre shouts aloud as it leaps from the ground towards him.

"Why do you think I never shut the portals, never underestimate a universal guardian, son" Redoulp says a bubble of air encompasses him shattering the array of claws around.

"Ooh fang" Shylock thinks as he dodges barely from the ogre lands.

"This thing is incredible, I am having trouble keeping up with his speed" Shylock frowns, the ogre runs but before Shylock could comprehend what was happening, it was directly behind him, grabbing him by his hair, he takes him for a spin around the room hitting him vehemently against the wall causing his skin and bones to brush against the wall so horribly that it was peeling off faster than his body could heal.

"That's a magically enhanced Ogre, for saving the infinite multiverse from Meglor, guardians of countless universes assigned together to magically enhance this creature just as a gift to me, they say it's strong enough to destroy the entire multiverse which I doubt, I mean the number of universes in the multiverse are so much their value is so high they can't be classified by numbers or words, according to the smartasses, the number of the universe is even greater than the value of infinity but that isn't even the point, the only reason why this room isn't destroyed yet is cause of the defense spells I have set in place, I have been looking for a good opportunity to test it and frankly, you are a good choice" Redoulp ends smiling.

The ogre after bashing him enough sets him on the ground, repeatedly punching and stomping on him but Shylock wasn't done yet, using all the strength he could muster, he lifts his feet up, connecting it to the face of the monster, it sends him high in the air, Shylock took it a step further, he followed his attack, continually bashing it's ugly face with is fists till it lands in the room.

The ogre growls as he tries to swing at Shylock but Shylock evades easily, bending to the ground in a grass cutter stance, he makes a 360 degrees rotation with his right leg colliding with the ogre and causing him to topple in the air, Shylock quickly gets up, vibrating his arm to gain an incredible momentum, he punches the ogre forward.

Shylock was the youngest of all the male vampires and yet Alucard chose him as an elite, he was the most inexperienced but when it came to analysing the opponents, being resourceful and taking initiative, no vampire could compare to Shylock, not even Jenkrov.

Shylock vibrates his entire body, he couldn't teleport and he wasn't versed in mage craft but he needed to get to the ogre's location, the ogre was still in the air, by vibrating his body so fast, he was able to exchange the molecules and ions that make up his body to those of any location at all, by doing that, he had invented that move once while he was sparring Jenkrov for the elite position, it had enabled him to win, he reappears above the ogre, vibrating his left arm so fast it became as sharp as any vampiric blade, he brings it down on the ogre's neck slicing it clean off and causing it to rotate freely on the ground.

Shylock lands on the ground exhausted breathing heavily.

"That's done, you are next" Shylock says still breathing heavily.

"Stop blabbing" Redoulp says pointing at him, Shylock disappears, after a while he returns, his entire body was smoked, he smelled like fresh barbeque, he was shivering vehemently.

"I sent you to a far quadrant located seventeen million universes located east of our own dear universe, the quadrant is known for it's unstable electrical discharge" Redoulp begins with a senile smile

"You just endured one hundred and fifty seven duovigintillion volts of electricity, congratulations, you are the first to survive that."

"F...F...Fang you" Shylock mutters still shivering like a vibrating dildo.

"Now will you tell me where Ron is?" Redoulp asks.

"W...why d...don't y...you a...ask he...her?" Shylock shivers, still trying to recuperate from the electrical attack he had just tanked, as if on cue, the angel appears directly beside him, she was dressed in a red dress and was eating cotton candy.

"You must be the natch who's causing all these pandemonium, you shall pay dearly for your actions" Redoulp shouts at her as he stretches his hands to her but nothing happens.

"What's wrong, old man, your magic doesn't work" The angel smiles at him, Redoulp frowns as he looks at her, he mutters several words but nothing was happening.

"You wretched natch, what did you do to me?" Redoulp demands.

"It's an angelic ability, I call it disability" the angel smiles as the cotton candy disappears from her right hand

"Now I shall be taking you with me."

"As if I..." Redoulp collapses to the floor, everything appeared blurry and he was hazy, he was slowly losing consciousness, he couldn't talk and his surroundings appeared intangible.

"Sh...Sha...shall we...we ki....kill hi...him no...now..now" Shylock asks getting up from the ground, his body was still terribly damaged even though it was healing fast.

"That won't be necessary, I promised if you could beat him, then he wouldn't be needed but since you couldn't win, he will be coming with me" she smiles, those were the last words Redoulp hears those last words before falling into a state of complete slumber.
