The restaurant was busy, something expected when the majority of the population took their midday meal around one in the afternoon. One would have thought Dwayne would avoid such a crowded time and place, but he preferred it. It meant he couldn’t just draw his gun and shoot if he got irritated. And he was plenty irritated recently. Seated at the corner table, tucked away from the rest, Dwayne attempted to stifle that irritation as he watched the entrance of the restaurant.
