Naomi had been living a secret life. To her family, she was a diligent student, living in a small apartment near campus. But in reality, she had been sharing a cozy house with her boyfriend, Alex.

Naomi's family was traditional and conservative, and she knew they would never approve of her living with a man before marriage. So she kept her living arrangement a secret, careful to maintain the illusion of a separate life.

But now, Naomi's family was pressing her to get married. They had chosen a suitable husband for her, and they expected her to accept their choice.

"Let me just go get my books from the house," Naomi said, trying to stall. "I'll meet you at the cafe down the street."

Naomi rushed to the house, hoping to warn Alex and come up with a plan. But as she opened the door, she was surprised to see Alex standing in the living room, a mixture of confusion and concern on his face.

"What's going on?" Alex asked, as Naomi rushed to explain the situation.

"Naomi, I'm so sorry," Alex said, his eyes filled with regret. "I was wrong to leave you, and I was wrong to marry Sophia without truly loving her."

Naomi was taken aback by Alex's apology. She hadn't expected him to come crawling back, especially after he had moved on to someone else.

Despite her initial reservations, Naomi found herself wanting to believe Alex. She wanted to believe that he truly loved her and that he was willing to make amends.

Naomi had had enough. She knew she deserved better than someone who couldn't commit to her. "Alex, I think it's time for us to go our separate ways," she said, her voice firm but calm.

But instead of apologizing or showing remorse, Alex became defensive and insulting. "You're just jealous because I've moved on with my life," he sneered. "You're so obsessed with my son, Nathan, always calling him yours. You're not even his mother!"

Naomi felt a sting from Alex's words, but she refused to back down. "I may not be Nathan's biological mother," she said, "but I loved and cared for him like he was my own. And as for being obsessed, you're one to talk. You're the one who keeps coming back to me, even after you've moved on to someone else."

Alex's face turned red with anger, but Naomi stood her ground. She knew she deserved better, and she was determined to move on with her life.

Chapter 12: Another Apology

The next day, Alex showed up at Naomi's doorstep again, looking remorseful. "Naomi, I'm so sorry for what I said yesterday," he said, his voice filled with regret. "I was wrong to insult you, and I realize now that I took you for granted."

Naomi was taken aback by Alex's apology. She had expected him to be angry and defensive, but instead, he seemed genuinely sorry.

Chapter 13: Forgiveness

Despite her initial reservations, Naomi found herself wanting to forgive Alex. She saw the sincerity in his eyes and heard the remorse in his voice.

"Okay, Alex," Naomi said finally. "I forgive you. But please, don't hurt me again."

Alex's face lit up with relief, and he pulled Naomi into a tight hug. "I promise, Naomi," he whispered. "I'll do anything to make it right between us."

Chapter 14: A Plan to Tie the Knot

Alex had an idea. "Naomi, I want to make our relationship official," he said. "Let's get married."

Naomi's heart skipped a beat. She had dreamed of marrying Alex for so long.

"But how?" Naomi asked. "We don't have enough money for a wedding."

Alex thought for a moment. "I'll pay for the marriage ceremony," he said. "That way, everyone will know we're married."
