Third-person pov-Aislyn “Sage? Honey, are you still awake?” Aislyn asked softly as she sat down on the hill next to her son. Sage had known for a little while now that she’d been following him, but he just didn’t care to say or do anything about it. In a sense, he liked knowing he wasn’t fully alone, even though he felt alone on the inside. Maybe he liked knowing that if he got to the point where he couldn’t take it anymore and threw himself over the cliff into the dark waters below, that she’d be there to save him. Sage hadn’t closed his eyes yet, giving a soft shrug as he continued to stare up at the stars. “Did you know that one looks like the sun? Do you see it? If you squint hard enough, the little stars near the circle look like the sun.” He said randomly. Aislyn blinked, confused
