I nodded. “It’s perfect for him baby, you did a good job,” I said with a smile. “Now, come on, quit stalling, I want to hear that song,” I said, standing up and pulling out my phone to record him. He shook his head at me, a soft blush on his cheeks as I pointed the phone at him, not even fumbling with it like I used to. It took a while to get used to everything, but once I did, I ended up picking up everything else fast, excited about every new thing I learned. This dimension was perfect for me, and while at times I did miss my family, I did get to see them sometimes when the portal appeared randomly and they all stepped through to meet us. Watching my mom and Adaline sit down and talk to each other like best friends for ten minutes was the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. Jas
