I watched in fascinated wonder as a dark gray mist poured out of the portal and started to move steadily around Death’s feet. He simply stared at us as we watched the smoke crackle, the boom of thunder, and the crackle of lightning moving around the dark gray mist as if it was a storm cloud and I couldn’t help but move closer to Rhys as he tensed, knowing he was scared of storms. We watched in wonder as the storm cloud moved closer and closer to Rhett, licking up his legs, slowly rolling around his body, licking against his arms as he was suddenly pulled into our little bubble, and out of the frozen world around us.
