“What are we supposed to do, Jaiden?” Jaiden frowned, shaking his head back and forth as he sat on the window sill of his bedroom. They had the lights off as he and Lexi sat side by side on the window sill, watching. As always, Rhys had been sneaking out at night time to go to the maze, to sit in the tree that had been ironically Jaiden’s favorite place to sit and stare at the moon. He remembered how much he had missed that tree from the maze at Colt’s packhouse, and together he and Colette had used their powers to create a maze here, on the Shifters side of the pack. He had even used a seed from the tree at Colt’s packhouse to plant the tree in the middle of this maze, so it was all the same as there. The only difference was the flowers that bloomed the most
